Hi There Does anyone have any information about Dr. Bradley Amson in Victoria? I've finally got my husbands ok on this but I need to find the least expensive place to do it in Canada. I want to make sure that the Dr. is good too and that the waiting list isn't too long. Also what is the name of the clinic in Victoria? I think it may be a little less expensive than Toronto.:mad: Thank you!!

Hi everyone! I'm so glad I've found this forum! I've learned so much and have my phone consult next week. I'm so excited to get my life back!! I am so ready for this. I am tired of thinking about food all the time and want to be the woman my hubby married. I want to be able to keep up with my kids and I want them to be proud of me. Thank-you so much for the support and although I have some jitters about spending 16K, I know it will be so worth it and at this time next year I hope to be really close to my goal. Sunshine I am 5'2 221 lbs. Can I ask you what you normally eat in a day now? Is it uncomfortable? Was your family supportive? I'm not telling anyone. Too embarassed and I know my family would not support me. For now it's just me and my husband. It's really no one else's business anyway right? Except of course... you guys!

Oh yeah, I forgot about all the goodies and food I buy everyday!! It's like I was saying to Mookie, it's like I'm getting ready to break-up with food. Sounds funny I know but I really did have a long love-hate relationship with food and now I'm ready to start eating to live instead of living to eat!!

Hi all Okay, I live in Edmonton and am the kind of person who when she makes-up her mind to have something done, she has it done. I can't wait 2 years!! The plane ride to Toronto is just brutal from Edmonton so I'm thinking of going to Victoria or Ladner. Does anyone have any experience in these 2 places? How long is the wait? Cost? Which Dr. did you like better? I'm excited to get my life back and keep up with my kids!

Hi all! Just found this site and am glad I did. I live in Canada so lucky for me this procedure is covered by my health care coverage. Has anyone else who had this done live in Alberta? What do you need to be sure you are approved? I don't have any health problems yet because of my weight but know it's just a matter of time. I'm 220 at 5"2. How long did you have to wait to get the surgery? I'm so tired of being tired and fat. I just told my husband of my intensions and amazingly I got his support so I'm really excited to get the show on the road!!:clap2:
