Here's the list of what I take: Multivitamin w/ iron- flintstones complete 2 a day Calcium- chewables from Walmart 1000 mg B12 sublingual 2500 mcg once a day Vitamin D- 5000 mcg a day Biotin- 1000 mcg a day The b12 and Biotin are just the generic brand from Walmart. I was a coffee drinker before surgery but haven't tried to since surgery but there is a Protein called Syntrax nectars they make a Protein powder and it tastes like Cappuccino and omg its so delish!!! I get the same type of pain but mine is more near my belly button sometimes it's when I am hungry and other times it is gas but I'm not that far out and I'm still not sure when I'm actually hungry!!! Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I have a friend that was told a million horror stories about weight loss surgery in general and I think those people are so apprehensive about the surgery that they think the worst and it always seems like those who don't know much about it or do not like the idea of it always know "people" who have had complications or died from it! Just wondering if anyone has had any differences in taste after surgery as aposed to before? and If you have anything you can't eat now after surgery that you once loved! I have a problem with a few things, I can't eat chicken even though I would love to! Also ketchup makes me feel sick to my stomach and so does the smell of skim and 1% milk.....funny thing is about milk I love the smell of the whole milk and love the taste!!

The kind I have is indeed sugar free! And your children's juice could have sugar because it will have some natural sugars in it....the reason I know this is because I was told by my surgeon I could have 100% juice and when I went to the store to buy it even the ones that said no sugar added still had sugar content so I called the surgeons office and talked to one of the nurses and she explained that it's going to list an amount of sugar because of the naturally occurring sugar and said that as long as it said no sugar added and 100% juice that is fine to drink! Yeah it's definitely no fun at all I got no sleep for the 2 weeks after my surgery because I itched so bad! It was a nightmare and not only did I have a yeast infection all over my skin but I also was allergic to the dermabond they used to close my incisions and so all of my incisions were red and swollen too! I'm so sorry but it could be the new scale lying to you...I just recently bought a new scale and says I weigh 5 lbs more than my old scale does so I don't know which one to believe!! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Sadly I've stuck to the diet.....getting very discouraged because I haven't lost any weight in over a month I did loose for the last 2 weeks but I got a new scale and it's back up to 191 so I don't know what to do!! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
