Are you taking about bowel movements? If that's the case that's how I am when I need to go...always but my bowel movements are once every 3-4 days but when I have to go I have to go!! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Just because someone tried something once doesn't mean they are gonna keep doing those bad things I don't feel like I've cheated myself at all I've lost 70 lbs in just 4 short months! I know people that have never cheated and lost less than I have in 4 months.....so you do you and I'll do me and I hate to say it but if you don't want to see what we are subjectin ourselves to than don't read it! I thought I'd start a thread for this and if anyone is willing to share their excess skin pics it would be great for those who are worried about it! I'm going to share both my arms and my stomach which are the 2 areas that I'm most unhappy with! It takes a lot of courage to post these and I'm so nervous in doing so! But for those that don't know my starting weight was 247, highest weight ever was 250, I am now 180 and 17 weeks post op (4th month) out and 70 lbs gone still have 60 more lbs to go!! Here goes nothin' arms aren't that bad but still I hate them Stomach is what you see it's not hanging or sagging yet and hopefully won't and doesn't have a whole lot of extra skin Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Yeah I have been out to eat quite a few times and I won't order food for myself I always share with someone who won't eat their whole meal by themselves and let's get real those places serving sizes are huge and so many people wonder why most of America is overweight! Definitely don't tell your doc I was told that if your liver is too large on surgery day they just switch your surgery from lap to open so keep that in mind for the rest of your diet they had me so scared that I only cheated 1 time on the liquid diet and alls I ate was a little bit of popcorn and some twizzlers at the movies 2 days before surgery!! The sleeve is less invasive than rny and has less complications with the exception of leaks, leaks are more prone with the sleeve although you can still get leaks with rny. My friend has the sleeve and she said that she has food come up in her throat sometimes and I was told by the np that if you already have acid reflux or gerd that getting the sleeve could make it worse but rny basically makes it go away and I can honestly say that I haven't taken my nexium since the day of surgery and I had gerd before I had rny!
