This is a great thread... We're here to give and get advise. We all have different life story but we all have a common thread.. And if I can lend any advice, it would be that this is only a tool to help you... With my 1st band I lost about 100 pounds then I got pregnant. After I had my daughter in 2012 my band slipped . I was diagnosis with rheumatoid Arthritis and had the band replaced in early 2013... This band is not like the first one and does not work / help me ... I gained over 80 pounds back.... The port has flipped and I don't have any restriction and my band is almost full... Just got approved for my revision from band to Sleeve. The big day is July 27th too

I'n getting my revision to Gastric Sleeve done on 7/27/2016. Nervous and excited at the same time Was banded in 2007 and lost 102 pounds then had a slip of the band and was re banded in 2013 where I gain back 82 pounds-

I feel like I want to shout this from the roof tops...I finally got Approved after almost a year of fighting with Insurance Company..I went to 2 appeals denied both times waited 6 months and resubmitted and was approved in 3 weeks...I just want to tell everyone who has to fight with the insurance company... Dont give up..Keep trying... It does work out.....Yea:whoo:
