Hey there, Happy Holidays! Was wondering if I could ask you a couple questions about the lapband? I had the surgery June 5 and i have lost 20 pounds. I have not lost a single ounce since before Jennifer's wedding. I have had 7 fills. (my band is 11cc and I have 8cc in it now.) I am eating a calorie restrictive diet. But I am able to eat as much as I could before. I am not snacking in between and I am not exercising like I should. My doc says to be patient and that my weight loss will come next year. I am so lost right now, I am not sure what happened and if its even gonna work. I don't know what to do, just thought maybe someone could give me advise.

Hi, I am very new to all of this and I need some help and advise. I had my surgery June 5th and everything went great, I am on no restrictions and I started walking 2 days ago (1mile). My questions are these: I am eating more then I thought that I could, I am scheduled for my first fill July 19th. Is there something wrong? Is my stomach stretched? Do I need to see my Doc and be xrayed? I lost a total of 16 pounds in the first 1.5 weeks and now nothing. Do I need to exercise more. I am so scared that there is something wrong because I am always hungry! I have not cheated as far as the type of food, I am still eating fruit Soups and chicken and drinking alot of Water. But it seems like the portion and the how frequent I am is eating is wrong. Please help me figure this out, I am trying so hard and I don't want to fail again. Thank you Vicki

Ok so here goes, I am 44 years old and I weigh 245. I have no insurance. I need weight loss surgery. I need help! I am asking for advise from start to finish. I can get insurance but I need to know what type and how long I need to have the insurance before I can start the surgery program. I have not been to a Doctor in a couple years, but I have managed to lose some weight but of course put it back on. I realize that my only hope now is to have the surgery. Please give me any and all advise. Thank you so much! Vicki
