I had my pics taken on Monday and I'm scheduled for surgery on May 1st.

So... I am assuming they're not anticipating any approval problems between now and then.

Oh wow cool we didn't schedule a date yet but we didn't for band soon as approved surgery was set 2 weeks after

I'm wonder all my Tt bandster that used insurance how long was the process? Meaning for submitting pics all the way until approval?? I took pics today and they said to give 3 weeks for approval... I'm so stocked and hope to hear good news soon...

You guys are all lucky! Each insurance company has different plans for each employer to choose from. I work for UnitedHealth Group and have United insurance and my plan doesn't cover any bariatric services at all. Luckily' date=' I also have a hiatal hernia. So the insurance will cover the actual surgery (after my horrible deductible) and I am having to pay myself for the band portion. I'm having it done with True Results and they are financing me.[/quote']

I have united approval for lapband came back Tuesday sub on Friday approved.. Now I'm just waiting for Tt to be approved took pics today will be sent over for approval I'm hoping it goes quick

Let me know of it does. Did you choose a doctor already? The doctor I went to was referred to me and he knew that bcbs would pay for it under those conditions.

The surgery was the easiest part the mental was harder for me atleast but my year will be in June I wish u the best but the surgery was the easy part
