Please don't let this be a deal breaker for you! The benefits far outweigh the risks. I'm like you in that only my hubby and one close friend will ever know. Some people lose a little to none and it grows back!! Very rare that people lose a lot. Plus I have heard that it grows back thicker for some. You lose it because the rate you lose weight the supplements are not enough. If you lose weight slower you are less likely to lose hair. My surgery is in 2 days. I will let you know. It is worth it to me. I have diabetes and can't wait to stop the meds!

That seems like a lot of carbs to me. Is that what your dietician suggested? Mine only wants me to have 40-50 carbs a day. Just a thought that may help.

Total Out Of Pocket With Dual Insurance
Punkypoo replied to Phil38783's topic in Insurance & Financing
You are so lucky to have insurance cover it at all. I am self pay 100%. I agree it should be covered 100%. Insurance would rather pay for my diabetes care for the next 40 years? makes no sense. Obesity is a disese like cancer. You cant tell people "stop having cancer" so why do people think you can say "stop being obese"? -
My surgery is Feb 1 2012 and I am very concern with this head hunger/craving. I crave chocolate and salty/crunchy snacks like chips and popcorn. Any tips you learn to minimize this please pass them on.
