  1. Today was tough! Too many temptations. I would actually rather be at work and busy then sitting at home on the weekends! Worst day yet so I know tomorrow is going to be better! Why did i teach my kids how to bake??? What was I thinking?!

  2. Cleaned out my closet and got rid of all the bigger sizes! Down 2 sizes! Donating to the church because they give them away for free, the salvation army charges people too much! It was the happiest donation I have made so far!

  3. my first fill appt. pushed out 2 weeks due to scheduling conflict! Hope I will lose more before than It will get help me get a one up before being fill then I can go from there!

  4. Today was my first day of liquid diet. My Dr. doesn't require it but I think its a good idea not only to prepare you mentally but to help shrink your liver. So the first day went o.k. I had a preotein shake for breakfast and a cup of soup for lucnh. I did break down and have a yougart. I had a glass of o.j. plus 36 ounces of water,which I will get more in tomorrow. Worked today and had a meeting so I wasnt able to drink as much as I have been. Frankly I was going to be nowhere near a bath...

  5. I think weekends are going to be harder, but I can do it! Just have to keep busy and go to the gym!

  6. o.k so I am geting my bag ready for the hospital and still trying to decide if I am going to tell my kids or not?? Any suggestions would be good. Getting excited, but seriously nervous! Had Ice Cream today one last splurge. Was off from work today...clear liquis tomorrow!

  7. Super Bowl and did very well I must say! Getting a little frustrated with the weight loss though. Lost at first 15 lbs. first 2 weeks and now that I am eating mushies I'm stuck on the scale!

  12. Just told my kids and my Dad that I am going to have the WLS and they were all very supportive. Not sure how they wee going to handle it, but it can be very tiring keeping a secret. So it went well! So glad I did. Dad did good with the news. He lives with me and ironically he wanted to know who was going to get his meals! Gotta love it!

  19. Finally found a protein drink I can handle! yeah! That's one off the bucket list!!

  20. 3 mile walk Sunday, 7 mile ride Monday and 6 mile ride tonight! Patting myself on the back!

  21. today is a bit better. gas pains not so bad. Hoping to feel good enough so that I can start getting my protein in. Concerned about how I am going to get it all in. I think I will be ready to return to work on Monday. incisions dont hurt just the gas pains. I appreciate all the support on here not sure how I would do it if i didnt have people to talk to whoare going through the same thing..

  23. Second fill and finally feel restriction. It took a couple days before it really started to be noticeable. Very happy with the progress!

  24. No fill yet trying to find the strength to keep with the program with no restriction. Definitely not getting enough protein in. Taking vitamins and minerals plus biotin and xtra b12

  25. Have not been on the scale in a while. getting up the courage.
