Been a rough year but I think I am getting close to normal again. Port site got infected so January had it removed and replaced it in March. Many x-rays later to find my port site so I can get my fills and I might be .5 ml away from being right again.

Pain On Right Side

I had pain on my right side then it moved to my left. I then got a bad cough and foung out my band was just a little to full. -
Had my first band fill Friday the 20th, was not as bad as I thought. I only got 2cc's the doctor said my bad was dry, I will get 2 more in 1 month. looks like it is going to be a long raod to the green zone, but still loving it.

I feel they same way I sure thought it was going to be so easy and I would just melt the pounds off. I went out to eat with my husband and kids Sunday night. I thought I would be good and while everyone ate off the buffet I got the salad bar. Will I ate 2 plates of salad with some pasta. I sure thought I was going to pay for it later because I just knew I ate to much, but nope I was fine. My first band fill is 01/20/2012 and I can't wait. Good Luck! -
I was just wondering if anyone else has thyroid problem. I was told by my doctor that the lapband will still work even though I have thyroid problem. He said I can still lose the weigh. I was banded on the 20th of December and from the time I started my liquid diet to today I only lost 25.5 pounds. My first fill will be 01/20/2012

Been Banded since 12/20/2011 and my weight loss is at a stop, I feel I can eat anything. My first fill is 01/20/2012 and I sure hope it does something for me!

Always Cold After Being Banded.

Congrats on your band, I was banded on 12/20/2011 and before I was banded i was cold but it seems now I am more cold. I have a small heater plus the house heater on in my office at my legs just to keep warm. I also heard if your iron is low you can be more cold. . http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/anemia.html here is a site I found with information about iron. Good Luck -

I was banded on 12/20/2011 and have went from 363(at start of liquid diet) to 345(today). I am at a stand still with loss. Talking with my doctor today, he said I might have loss inches and not pounds and that my body is still healing, so do not push it. I go for my first fill 01/20/2012. Do get discouraged,Good luck! Wish you the best. -
