How Much At One Month?
aliandrews replied to SleeveShelly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I lost 21 lbs. It looks like you're doing great. I am 10 months out and have lost 88 lbs. Everyone loses at their own rate. So, no worries. -
How Many Calories Should I Have At 10 Months Out
aliandrews posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Just curious. I know this has been posted before, sorry. I am 10 months out and try to have about 800 calories a day. I feel I can have more but don't know if I should up them or not. I don't want to go too high. What is the highest amount anyone has had and still lost weight? -
7 Months Now, Slowest Losing Ever
aliandrews replied to momof4's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't give up yet. Maybe you should get back to the basics and do what you did in the beginning. You have lost 40 lbs which is a good thing. Don't eat too much so often. Some people have their three meals a day and a snack. Maybe stepping up on the exercise would be a good thing. Also, maybe talk to your Dr about your sleep and energy issues. You might have a problem that you don't know about. Don't be too hard on yourself. You are doing great. Just get back to the basics. -
Don't worry RJ, it won't be like this for long. He has to live with himself. He is not important. You are on your way to your weight loss journey and very soon you will be happy with yourself and pain free. I understand the hurt because I went through it too. You are better than him.

I did it 2 weeks out and felt fine. It might be how vigorous you were or the position you were in.

Wow!! Just WOW!! Good WOW!

My relationship with my husband hasn't changed. We have always been best friends. The only thing that has changed is the frequency of sex.

Could I Be Lactose Intolerant Now?
aliandrews replied to jennrus's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am eight months out and I have issues with milk. I bothers my stomach, so I don't know if I am lactose intolerant. Cheese and yogurt seem to be fine, but milk itself upsets my stomach. -
It's different for everyone. I started out at 400-600 daily and I am doing around 800 right now. But everyone will be different so there will variations.

How Do You Keep Low Carbs?!
aliandrews replied to KikiCC's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told to have no more than 15 g carbs daily, but I actually go higher than that. I try to stick with eggs, cheese, yogurt, chicken, fish, etc. It's actually pretty easy. Just do a little research and see what you come up with. -
Out Of Plus Sizes Into Regular Size
aliandrews posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I went shopping for some jeans because of course I can't really fit into my old ones. THEY ARE TOO BIG!! I went into the regular area where I haven't been in years and found things that fit. I am wearing a 14/16 top which is fine and a size 18 pants. I feel beautiful. Not trying to brag, but I haven't felt this good in a loooooong time. I can feel the goal coming. -
What Is Your Goal Weight ?!
aliandrews replied to jasmineb's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 5'1" and my goal weight is 120. I used to be a size 10 when I was younger, but I really don't care about the size as long as I am healthy. -
C-Section Vs Sleeve Pain
aliandrews replied to blackmagikcrush's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had a c-section also and thought that hurt worse than the sleeve did. I got up the first time after having the sleeve and was shocked that it wasn't more painful. So, don't worry. Everything will be fine. -
I am getting that too. Like Dooter said it's not how it used to be, though.
-
My husband has told me that. It feels great doesn't it.

Heart Stopped On The Table
aliandrews replied to Texarkolina's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh my. I hope everything go well. I am sorry you had to go through that. -
And I haven't gained any weight. I followed the plan and came off it a little bit, but overall did very well since I was around a lot of temptation. I felt great in a bathing suit and in my clothes.
-
That sounds great.

I was getting around 400-600 calories during this stage, but others have been different. Has your doctor told you anything about what you should be doing? Mine gave me a sheet of info on what calorie level I should be at and what I should be eating.

Good for you MsVickee. I am married and he was my first ever. That is awesome.

Wow, interesting Wheetsin.

It bugged me too, but it happens. I had an 8 day stall which irritated me because I thought I was done losing. Well, I am still losing and still have stalls also. SO, no worries.
