Kathy: Good luck! December 7th is around the corner. I am also excited and nervous. At 39, I have been overweight for the last 20 years, but I feel like I'm getting a good "jump" on my health. Please keep in touch and let me know how the surgery went. Jason

Hey there! 39 year old married father of four in Wisconsin and I'm going to have the VSG surgery in January 2011. This forum has been extremely helpful and I appreciate all of the honest opinions and everyone that has documented their experiences with the surgery. I'm 6'0" and weigh 420 lbs, with a BMI of 58...tired of all the physical pain and ready to start living a different (better) life.
