Fiddleman, I use them now, I am pre surgery and use 1/2 teaspoon daily plus other things alike that with it and in blender drinks but they might suggest 1 or even 2 teaspoons. It supplements what I get for anti oxident amoni acids, kinda is just a good fat added to diet. You can buy or make snack bars with them in it too. I'd suggest you feel it out and use a little bit at a time until you feel you like what it is you do with it. http://www.nuts.com/snacks/energy-squares/chia.html

Help, Vomiting Yellow Bile With Traces Of Bright Red Blood
BeGuiled replied to Globetrotter's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Lotsa luck, I hope your better soon. -
.......edit, ..... took out links to these things, what a flippin gimmick, they hardly work after all. I would say you get a bit of nic using one though and it is a tool for comfort for a while but I am not interesting in the long term in this crud........ I guess it won't hurt with out nic in one, I bought 2 dispossables, one has low nic and one has zero. Unfortunatley after the fact, I learned I got a crappy brand and went to find better, so far I came up with 3 dispossables and 2 next size mini type things with a charger at least. Want the 2 crapola ones to see if it at least suites me and then I'll buy better next thing cheap as a start. Thanks, if you Vape, please say something, I guess it won't hurt after all if I do it at a right rate and few times after, but now with nic and try zero to aid my quit.

Help, Vomiting Yellow Bile With Traces Of Bright Red Blood
BeGuiled replied to Globetrotter's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You need to see a doctor, I would call your surgeon's office and get after hours emergency call back . Dig out the numbers and call. -
Thanks chris54, that seems like the list I heard before at doctors office in a group sign up after aproval, I speak to him one on one again next week. Also I'll consider what every else seems to like best, like gummies too and maybe not so much the bartiatric Vites.

Do Gummy Vitamins With Iron Exist?
BeGuiled replied to kcaaunt's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
kcaaunt, Have'nt seen the gummy's with iron, just a 5mg dose for children. I looked before and after just now a while. A good multi should have some iron, also they have liquid iron, look up Wellesse liquid vite's. I am unsure what other are taking, I am also pre-op and have yet to get further instruction but have an idea what I may need if they add more than a multi Vite. -

Laughter, Not Really The Best Medicine... For Right Now.
BeGuiled replied to stephsee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Good luck with that though I don't really know, I'd imagine a couple weeks and light laughter, it'll be all healed given time of course. This may pose a future prob for me too. -

Medicare has aproved the sleeve recently and left it for regional aprovals to be done a second time. All I know is that in New York and Connecticut you can now use the Medicare/Medicaid program and insurance for this. They already had been aproving the other type, By pass and Lap Band.

Congrats on that and being home too. Maybe take from Water to dilute what you drink for Protein well enough as a start.

I should hope not, but I am frigg'en out with anxieties here from time to time being a late quiter pre-op. A doctor told me today if you hadn't quit 6 weeks prior to a major surgery then they don't usually ask you to but added she would not ever discourage some one who has quit to go ahead and start again. Gee's louise ! wt*, I wanted one as soon as I left but did not. Quit 4 days coming up and that will be 3 weeks before date for surgery, I don't want to afterwards either but I keep thinking how stress is going to be at a later date too. Also quit several past years before ranged from 6 months to 1 year, longest was 2 yr 4 mth 2001 to 2003+1/2.
-
Thanks mrs. Mom, I'm glad to hear that you don't feel that craving now so much as I am imageing that could be and also that you only did 4 weeks too. Congrats on your recent surgery, I read the history in your profile. I hope all is well for you at this point, you must be just starting to get around better and do stuff I guess.

Really Having A Hard Time......
BeGuiled replied to jaxlaceylace's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You've decided for yourself and see whats there for you, of course you should hear them out providing thats not to harsh for you. Allot of people never should need this type extreme and have controls built in their selves that make it so that they couldn't imagine doing this at all, we do not. I've yet for a few people to simply voice their disagreement with this and to me but I am sure they think the same as your people close to you of me in a way, I have much to gain at my age (50) and for future health and avoiding bad result of long term obesiity. They do say bouncing up and back isn't healthy for you either. You should learn to blend later after your life is different long enough and they will not notice your eating less or what have you, I'd bet they may notice allot more when they sit for a meal with you then too. Lots of luck, hope you can still see that the thiner you is around the bend now. -
You might just know that fact or not, why state it now ?
