BeGuiled replied to a5paintball20's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Coming closer and closer, last weekend and thats it before you know it Tuesday morning, I'm getting more nervous. Not scared of surgery or pains or prissy about catheders and such, but I only know this is a permineant thing after the fact. I am spending time trying to look deeper into WLS cooking for the long haul. -
Got you a couple more links Fiddleman, hope this is can be of any help to you. http://www.livestrong.com/article/386524-how-to-use-chia-seeds-for-weight-loss/ http://www.livestrong.com/article/444471-top-ten-health-benefits-of-chia-seeds/ I think unique for the chia seeds are as good ground or wet or whole and digest easily and simlar nutrition for all.

Cafeine makes water drip into your intenstine and leave your body, for 2-3-4 months post surgery you want to be max hydrated for the healing of the stomach, if it drys it can also cause problems but hydration is an important issue and should be addressed firstly but slowly through out each day prior to nutritional consumptions and inbetween that also. I plan on some consumption of Tea and/or coffee when I feel safe post op 2-3 months or more. http://www.livestron...se-dehydration/ http://www.livestron...-dehydrate-you/

I don't realy know about that, lol, I'd say his videos are great though, I am sticking with whats best around me and I am insured.
-
Graphic video suregery, I read in another post about his youtube for subscription videos, they are great; here is a surgery being done but it seems better when he narrates here: __ youtube.com/watch?v=DwjA_WqJ0Jg there are more that describe allot about sleeve surgery.

Sorry every body for going off the subject, I wonder why this is as it is on Amazon.com.us, something is wrong with that.
-
These books are out of print and funny thing, this book must be a collector item; look at cost: http://www.amazon.co...turn to slender Second edition is OK though: http://www.amazon.co...54470158&sr=1-2 Lorraine if you have a copy and this is true, it may be worth allot.

Coffee Withrawal Help
BeGuiled replied to Misty_eyes's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
btw, if you don't think of this, there is nothing like a cold compress, get a wash cloth, wet it and put it in the freezer a while, hold it on your head and temples and neck, I know your situation, it is difficult but takes time to pass. I am 2 weeks and 2 days past quiting smoking at this time but also on patches, lol, they should have patch for coffee too. again, lots of luck. -
Not a problem, I wish you the best with it all. This seems more safe to me as of now too, I think after the months looking into it I feel that way now if that helps too.

Coffee Withrawal Help
BeGuiled replied to Misty_eyes's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thats the way that is, you can try to dump stuff into you to stop it but that can also have the reverse effects. Try to drink fluids and clear your system during the detox. Headaches should go and be less in a few days, you may as I did in the past experience late day headaches like these but they will dwindle away day by day and some times not show up. Get a good nights rest too, don't strees on it, that makes it worse. Good luck. -
Lap Band has to many complications comes with it after the fact, while the By pass is way complicated in surgery and older technique, Sleeve has all the correct surgical tools to do it now. Sleeved seems that I will have no apetite after that makes me binge, my thinking is that the sleeved stomach works better than a by pass one for me. Also, I believe I'll get better nutrician from a sleeve from what I eat.

Hi, counting down, day 10 to 11th day 0, wish you luck. At this point I don't feel so nervous, at 2 or 3 days left I am sure I will be more. just saying what I have for hospital is; I have big sized Robe, sweats, clean new changes for under clothes, gasX, pad&pen, some lubricant spray for dry mouth, some petty cash. They have phone and television which is enough for me for 2 days, I am not bringing laptop or phone but you can I understand have them.

sounds like a small or family type place maybe, maybe all good any way the same. Is this your plan Fatnomo ? or a dream from some frustrating time spent doing so ?
-
Have a name for this 3 stage resturant ? The Bariatric Bistro and post 3 stage resturaunt ?
-
So, they might when asked bring a small chair over to the table to acomedate them then, hmmm. The dream you have here may do better after the facts of 1,2,3 stages, when post ops can sit down to meals in comfort. can't see it, we still might be the minority of eaters to small for a resturant like that there Mr. Fatnomo.
