    Clothes feeling more snug and face feeling fat sounds like Water retention. What you are eating is just as important as how much you are eating. Try staying away from high sodium foods also caffeine.

    Yes im in Mass we r expecting 18-24 inches! I hope we dont lose power. Last year when we had the freak snow storm in Oct we were without power for 7 days. Yes be safe everyone

  10. Sorry but what is "potted meat"? What is the texture? Even with alittle mayo it was probably a little to aggressive to start that yet. Do you have a nutrisionist? They can help greatly! Whether it be what to eat an portion control. Worth checking out.

    Luuluu i hear ya! I dont like excersise i dont like sweating (its so grose). But personally Ive always liked walking (at a fast pace). But when its 5degrees out (literally) i am not going out to walk. Then a wonderful thing happened my teenage sons got a new game for the XBox 360. Its Dance Central 3. I love it. I either do it with them or on my own Also I have FMS with other aliments so i stretch daily with yoga for beginners. Its relaxing stretches out the muscles an limbers me up for the day.

    Yes sometimes life is ironic. However you know the rules and are playing by them. Once this bump in the road is fixed for you. You will be back on your way to a healthy life as for your coworker if she keeps these habits up she will never have success. I hope your recovery goes well.
  14. Ok ive been banded over a year alls been good. Weightloss slow but steady. However this afternoon i am having pain in the port area right through that whole muscle. I didnt turn any funny way or anything. Just curious if i shoulg be concerned or not Oh an when i clear my throat or cough that muscle area feels tight an painful Any ideas??

  17. Terry you are too much. Lol Also ketosis breath is HORRIBLE an varies by the person. Or it could be some teeth issues or glandular. Diabetic breath usually is fruit/sweet smell like oranges. If it were me. Just tell her the way you would want to be told. HTH

  21. You are in the right place an Welcome. In less than 24hrs you will be on the banded side. Its not easy but so worth it. As far as the eating i can kinda relate I make cookies to sell give away ect. I have found having sugar free candies help. Let us know how you are doing when you are done.

    Eating

    I can not eat before 11am i usually have something warm when I wake tea or coffee. Around 11am I have a Protein shake something to eat around noon and then dinner. Our stomachs swell over night just like the rest of our body. You may just have to wait until afternoon to take in solids. HTH
  25. Hi All, So I have been banded since 10/2011 and have had no issues except slow weighloss (35lbs to date). However for the past 3-4 weeks I have been having heartburn at night and in the morning, also this tickling feeling in my chest. I was ill with a virus and saw my PCP and we contributed these things to post nasal drip and such. Well it hasnt gone away. And its this constant burning feeling. Just wondering could it be a slip or erosion? The nurse I just spoke to, said "oh you probably need an unfill" I think its more than that. I am not a very bold person and kinda "just do as I am told" person., but do you think I should requeat a barium swallow or X-ray? I have not clue and if I do how do I word it? Whats your ideas?
