  1. Hi I'm 1.5years post surgery an since I can no longer have spice things I get terrible heart burn. BTW I used to LOVE buffalo wings. Also potato chips are a no go heart burn there too

    Absolutely!! Lately after 10 bites or so im done im tired of chewing everyone else is done. So im done too

    Popcorn

    Hi there. For the first year I could eat popcorn it was a slider. HOWEVER i had some again a few months back. It was horrible i got stuck worse than i have in a long time. I vomited an it felt like tiny knives coming back up. It last for hours. I will never have popcorn again. However i can eat all the icecream in the world SO i only treat myself once in a great while.

  13. Ok that is what i feel like saying to my scale. Im avoiding her because although i have not go e totally off the deep end but i did do alot of stress eating. My drug of choice sugar mostly chocolate. So now i do not want to see my scale. Anyone else have one of those weeks?

    Lol thanks for the tough love everyone. I did get back on my scale an i was totally shocked. Lost 2.2 pounds!! But it was enough to scare me straight an get back to eating and excersising right.

    Hi there I just sent a message to Missy. Im sure she will respond as soon as she is able. I dont have MS however I have Fibro, Raynauds and Lupus. Which is another autoimmune disease. However i was diagnosed after my band placement. My surgeon says if I had been diagnosed before banding he would not have performed it. Because of inflammation an organ involvement. Like I said I dont have MS. So maybe its different.
  16. At my dr.s appt the other day the nurse was getting me one of those fashionable gowns that they like to humiliate us with. When to my mistaken ears did I hear ??? "Oh i need to find you a smaller one, you're so tiny" Ok ok im not tiny but WHATEVER !!! Lie to me, lie to me lol Just thought I'd share.

  19. Hi baba. So to start calories act like this calories in - calories burned = weight loss 3500cals = one pound So if you everyday eat 1500cal - 2000burned= deficit of -500cals. If for one week you keep up this deficit u will have -500 x 7 = -3500 thats one pound lost. So remember to track everything. And remember GYM... Get Yourbody Moving. The numbers dont lie.     I do get random bruising anywhere an for no reason. However it has nothing to do with my band. I have Fibro with other issues. But Dr says its because of the Fibro I would get an appt an talk with your Dr.

    Many good ideas an support here already. The only thing i'd throw in... Are you actually tracking all you consume either on your phone or writing? Are you watching your sugar an salt in take? Also are you making sure you are drinking your full 64oz of Water a day? It will happen..

    Im with Terry. I actually have to remind myself that I have a family to feed. I dont like putting in so much effort if its just for me since i know i will only eat 10 bites an be done.
