what i am using, which have helped before with my stomach marks is a mixture of pure virgin olive oil with 100% pure and real Shea butter.. The Shea butter you can get at any beauty store it comes in a small 4oz tube and its clumpy, very solid dark gry in color n it smells good!.. just use any bottle n put the butter in the bottle n add as much olive oil to get a smooth consistancy, doenst matter if there are clumps u can just spread it over it.. stays in the whole. From the times i have used it in the past it has tremendously fade my stretch marks, you can only see them if u are literally bending unto my stomach...other than that i just started using it 6 days op .

thank you so much for replying, I talked to the doc assistant who checked my incisions and she said they look good, i don't have stitches, i guess they sealed it from the inside.. she told i can do moderate exercise, upper and lower but no abdominal until one month out.. i don't know if swimming lightly makes a diff.. i just want to dive down hold my breath go back up, move my feet in the hand while inside the water.. hmmm makes me want to go right now lol !!!

the same thing for me, now when i breath my left shoulders hurts, only when i breath deep, my doc said its gas from the surgery, she prescribed me some gas med, that i am going to go later on to cvs to order it..

Nice job I like that u replaced eating with running sounds awesome ...about the app is it the irun.? App or can it be any app? I am on my second day of week two my doc said I could start moderate exercises no heavy listing only upper n lower body looking forward to it!!

Hey there, I hope i can give you some positive motivation, i am brand new to this sleeve world but i can say that i am happy i made the best choice in the world. I was sleeved on March 5, 2012.. i feel fantastic, and am already seeing weight loss! Besides the losing weight, i really wanted to do this procedure because diet and exercise and my old methods of losing weight were not working for me. I just turned 22, so young, to be sleeved i know.. heard it all, been there, so many negatives.. but at the point i was in my life i knew it was time for a "drastic" change! i have always been obese since the age of 5, and thank God that i didn't acquire medical problems, though i did have asma around the 3rd grade. Besides that, i was really thinking about my future, 22, single, "Freaking Fat", didn't have self esteem issues but still, looking at the mirror n just looking at my self i felt horrible.. The big factor for me was that i the rate that i was going, gaining weight every month, not just eating away, baking away.. i was going to have medical issues. One of my biggest motivation is my best friend, everything happens for a reason. she was also obese, got pregnant, had pre diabetes, had the baby, never lost the baby weight, kept eating, gained 30 more pounds, had to be taken to the er, tested her sugar levels above 700, had to keep her for nearly 3 weeks in the hospital. she was 20 at the time, so how is a 20 year old going to live with diabetes and the later on complications?.. tick tock for me, she lost half of her weight, because of diabetes, i lost some, but gained it right back. I am 22 i want to get married n have kids, i don't want to be obese and pregnant to be in the same situation my friend was in.. make story short, the decision for my sleeve, was the best, its only been a week (tomorrow) and i feel success already! so i hope this helps u can email me any time u want!. oh and don't listen to that friend of yours, they are just jealous, they wont have a fat friend standing next to them any more!.

i have my own video diary since my six month wait, til now, but its just for personal use. maybe one day i will post but right now i feel like i dont want to expose my sleeve to the world.. just to you guys...

yay, yea thats the same plan i have! Private room and all, it was more like i was in a hotel than a hospital lol love my health care plan its awesome!!! they require the six month supervised visits, medical history if any.. but mines was approved i guess based on my weight height n the six month evaluation i guess.. it seemed like it took forever but it went by fast.. sleeved monday the 5, feeling good loving my sleeve!!!

i am on day 5. temperature the same, felt cold but now its more hot than cold at times.. a little dizzy when i wake up, so i drink my vitamin shake n then 30 mins out sip my isopure.. or crystal light, water doesnt sit good on my pouch dont know y.. eat slowly or i would fell sharp pain as it goes down.. n sit up straight when i eat, if not my stomach starts cramping.. but so far so good.. have not weight my self since "Tom" came the day of the surgery, left n came back.. so i'll probably start my ticker next week.. sip sip slowly n walk, walk walk...

Congrats on your journey, i my self know the difficulties of making such decision especially being young, but its a change for the future. i also would like to thank all the people on this site because it became a mayor part of my life when i was deciding whether or not to be sleeved. my first option was the band because i saw great results from this one person on you tube, skymoon something.. shes a great person and her transformation inspired me to get the band,, but later i researched again about the sleeve, as the band was some what something to control portion size and for you to manage to change your lifestyle.. so for me, i decided on the sleeve because i needed a tool to help me lose weight, because food addiction is no joke.. i am happy i got my sleeve, i am 5 days post op and i feel good things will be coming soon.. so congrats, you guys still have time to debate on whats best for you! cant wait to read on your journey!!!

isopure isn't that bad for my taste buds, a friend of mines bought a couple and did not like the taste and gave em to me, its not that bad its sweet n it does have a weird signature i guess after taste lol.. so far i have tried their banana pine apple mango , and this red one i think its raspberry strawberry or something,, ur just going to drink something after wards n brush ur tongue because it makes ur mouth dry.. n tongue feel icky.. but loving the protein content.

I am using EAS 100%whey protein 1scoop as 23g of protein. They have vanilla strawberry n chocolate vanilla is my favorite. Taste good with non flavored soy milk

wow wat a frightening experience, gives me lil flash backs on how they woke me up, they told me to roll over to the recovery bed lol.. i was like ok as if nothing had happened lol. then i was asking for my mom lol... so congrats n welcome to losers bench, i was sleeved Monday so yay for us!!!

isereno i like ur schedule i will take that into consideration when i am able to dive into those wonderful food choices..

thank you so much, yea i have this food journal book that i bought from the biggest loser, n it lets me right down wat i ate or drink how many of a serving it is, the calories, carbs, fats etc.. so i am able to track how much i have been drinking if not i would be loss n not drink because of the sense of fullness i feel even after the 30 mins.. i am on my third meal n i am down 1/4 i got 2 more ounces left but i think i will continue in like 20 mins cus i am full..

omg girl, what signs did u notice when u were dehydrating cus right now i feel a big dizzy, i think its cuz of the pain med i took yesterday, still active i guess but i am sipping isopure n some water.. dont like the soup anymore lol.. in total i put down about 18oz.. since 9am?.. so thats not much right?.. uugh its so frustrating cus i feel full..
