Hi Stephanie, I went to my 'loseit' app to my days so I could track 3 meals from my daily plan.... Breakfast: Calories: 204 / Protein 15.2 1 mini whole wheat bagel (toasted) (put 1 tsp butter on each side) 2 egg whites (make omlette style adding 1 tsp butter to non stick pan) Melt cheese inside and top 1/8 cup of shredded fat free cheese 3 tsp. smart balance lite butter Mid Morning snack: Calories 119/ protein 4.5 1 small apple (remove skin) 1/2 cup skim milk Lunch: Calories: 190/ protein 15.7 2 ounce tuna fish canned in Water drained 1 tbs. lite mayo 1/2 cup of mixed greens salad 1 tbs. rasins Mid lunch: Calories 50 / Protein 1.8 15 Pistachios Dinner: 204/Protein 15.1 4 oz. chicken dark meat without skin 1/4 cup of brocoli 1/2 small baked potatoe 2 tbs light sour cream (add dried chives for x flavor) Total: Calories 767/ Protein 52 ***Snack can be made up the balance with whatever you have left over - Make it light, could be ice pop, Jello, applesauce, fruit, sugar free drinks, etc.. (just make sure whatever the total is for the end of day make up the balance) You can download a free app called LOSEIT, this will help you tremendously with everything you eat. Let us know how this went for you, best of luck hon

Hi Vicky, Don't give up on yourself, there could be a reason you are falling back into old habbits .. Have you any fills? Have you been getting 'stuck' eating foods? Are you PBing? Vomiting? If you answered yes to any of these your band could be too tight and you possibly need a small unfill. Although I have not had a fill, I can tell you from reading a lot on here that you fall into a typical catagory when someone experiences a tight band. Meaning, you will fall pray to eating 'slider' foods. This could lead to bad food choices and will sabatoge ones diet, losing weight. Now, if you are just falling back into 'bad' habbits with your food you can easily fix this yourself. Just keep in mind the very reason you had surgery done in the first place. Remember the band is NOT going to stop you from overeating, that is your job. I honestly beleive this is fixable! You still have a tool (your band), go back to basics, follow your nutrionist advice, and track everything you eat. I would even recommend talking to your nutrionist so that he/she can set you up with a food plan that fits your needs to get you back on track. Don't feel like a failure, you are not alone and I have read so many who share the same battles. There is nothing wrong with you, your a normal human being. Pick yourself up, start over a new leaf... Make tomorrow a brand new day! I know you can do it! Keep us posted on your progress.... ((hugs)) -Patty

I Dont Know Anymore
PattyGirl66 replied to nursesweetc's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Its really normal to have 'uncertain' feelings. Listen, this is a 'boyfriend' and I hate to say this but its your body and your health. If he doesn't understand why you choose to get healthy, then maybe its time to start thinking about your relationship. Also, if he is that significant to you why haven't you told him from the start? I think the best thing to do here is to discuss your health with him and the reason this surgery must be done, you may be surprised, and if he loves you, no matter what he will be there for you. Take care, -
Water, My New Obstacle!
PattyGirl66 replied to nvnoemi23's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Go out or have someone go out and buy you bottles of Gatorade. You can dilute the already watered gatorade with water or just drink it straight. You need to keep hydrated. I lived on water and gatorade for several weeks. I can't drink diet drinks at all because of the 'sweetners' trigger my acid reflux. Flavor your water if you are having a hard time drinking it with 'natural' juices. I did this also. For example: I would dilute my water with apple juice, cranberry juices, and even grape juices. You can even squeeze fresh fruits into your water as well for flavor, such as oranges, lemons, limes. Just keep drinking all day long, this is going to be the power you need to heal. -
Also, remember if you decide to use a heating pad do NOT put it on your belly! Oh, gatorade G2 is a must!

I 'try' not to go over 100 a day, and there are times I have but I have no worries about it because it still balances itself out at the end of the week..

It happens, and is very normal. The only advice I can offer is make sure you are getting in enough of proteins. You should be drinking plenty of water and taking your vitamins. Our bodies are going through some major changes, especially from foods we once would eat tons of, such as carbs/sugar. You could be going through withdrawls from these. Fresh fruits can curb some of these cravings. It will pass....

any kind of wine that is NOT carbonated. There are tons of divine wines out there, you can shop around for prices because they all do vary. I love white zinfindel wines, not to sweet and not to dry. It has to be right in the middle. My fav is by Beringer, and the price is very affordable.

Me too CG, I think that is when I will make it my first drink.Maybe thanksgiving since I host it. However, I shall wait till all the cooking is done so I don't start dropping things on the floor, or on anyone, heeeheeee
