Skin>-----12 Days Until The Beginning Of A New World.
PattyGirl66 replied to Marybell's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Sagging, lose, extra skin depends on many factors. Such as, your age and weight, even genetics can play a part. Now, with that said there is no miracle to preventing lose skin from sagging, especially when losing weight. The only thing you can do is eat right, exercise, drink plenty of Water. Your skin is made of elasticity and could possibly 'bounce' right back, to some extent, that depends on the size and amount of skin you have on a particular area of your body. For instance, even though you may weigh the same as someone you know, your bodies can be shaped very differently. Some may have heavier arms, or heavier legs, or stomache. Even the face carries on extra weight (double chin), it has to go somewhere when you have weight to lose, especially an extensive amount like me. In a nutshell, even though I have given this much thought as I lose weight its really not the worst thing in the world to me, what is that I get healthy and live a long life. I guess we rather go for the lose skin than unhealthy body...... -

You are all brave woman, I am going to wait my full 7 day to jump on the scale. I am tempted don't get me wrong. but I am use to getting on the scale once a week so I don't want to make a habbit of doing it everyday. I can't handle the stress like that, No really I may wand up throwing my scale at the backyard window. Imagine the neighbors watching a scale fly through the air..... hahahahaaa. -

10lbs is suuuuuper fantastic in just less than 2 weeks! whoohooo! I guess after losing steadily and hitting my very first plateau, I wasn 't expecting. I keep thinking to myself "oh I am still very very overweight this weight will fly off of me fast. Well, reality set in and I will never think that way again. I am really looking forward to my weigh in on Saturday, honestly its the only thing that keeps me focused and want to keep going -

Missy, I know I just am desperate to start losing weight again. It is so frustrating and discouraging when I am doing everything right, you know that more than anyone, that is why we are all here reaching out. A change up can't hurt and if the scale numbers go down I will be sooo happy. Enough of me whinning for now.... -

I too can only do the 3 meals and maybe a snack if I can get it in. I am very good with not eating after dinner, so I am safe there. I know eventually by the second week I am going to have to tweak this, especially since I am not a huge meat fan. That makes a huge difference especially for proteins and fats. So far day 3, I know its early to say, but I am not starving to death, however I feel some crashing today in my mood and it could be coming off the high carbs yesterday. I have some craving for sugar but that is natural since going from well over 100 to less than 30 grams of carbs. I just need to find a good balance so that I don't get the highs and the lows after high carb days. Its only been 1 high carb day passed so it may just be temporary (crossing fingers). -
People From Canada I Have A Question/request (Out Of Topic)
PattyGirl66 replied to Nayelli Q.'s topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Nayelli, yes you are right ONLY in Canada at participating McDonald's are they selling McCafe Premium Roast Ground coffee to take home. $6.99 for the bag and it says they are in 'fancy bags. They will be sold in the US down the road, but as of right now Canada only has it. I wish you the best of luck!!!
