I had my surgery 3 years ago and was doing great then I moved and for some unknown reason got extrememly tight. I was eating almost nothing and lost more weight then I wanted to. I wanted to have better energy and to be able to eat things besides liquids. I got some unfil and it made a big difference but i was concerned because my dr took out a lot. I gained some weight which was fine but it didn't level off so I returned and got a fill but I am continuing to gain weight. I am concerned because I don't know what to do, I was checked out before and was told i had no slippage and etc. If I get another fill I am worried that i won't be able to eat at all. I'm not sure how to get that middle ground between eating a peanut for dinner and where i am now. What if there is none and I have to decide between being unable to eat vegetables, being skinny and unhealthy or being able to eat them and being heavier?! Fills are expensive plus none of my clothes fit again. Going to the dr. tomorrow but just need some advice or if anyone else has been in this position. I'm going a bit crazy! thanks in advance for any help or comments

I've really been struggling lately and have gone off what I should be eating. Sweets have crept back in and I'm just not eating healthy. I feel out of control again. Anyone have any advice for getting it back together. I could use some support. Thanks

Thanks for the support it really helped. I made a menu for the next week and packed some lunches and feel like I'm back on the path. Its just nice to know you guys are struggling with the same stuff. -
Hi, I've been sick with a cold the last few days. I can drink and eat mushies fine but normal food I can't seem to tolerate. I'm a lot tighter and feel a slight pain (on side) when I cough. Has anyone else felt like this when sick? or does it have nothing to do with being sick and should go see my doctor? Thanks!

"How Long Did You Take Off From Work"
travelchicky replied to karely's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It took me two full weeks to feel ok and another week to really feel better to be at work. I'm a teacher and have to move around a lot. I think you just have to see how you feel and then decide. You can't rush yourself just listen to your body. -

Travelchicky. Dr. Baladas Singapore August 15th!:clap2: -
Hi all, I am getting banded in August and am concerned about getting enough protein considering how little I will be able to eat. Could you give me some ideas of what to eat/drink and how many grams you get a day? Thanks!

How experienced should your doctor be?
travelchicky posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
My doctor has done a little over 300 surgeries and I am wondering if that is enough experience or should I try someone else. Thanks for the help! -

Doctors in Asia?
travelchicky replied to LstNTranslation's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I'm starting the process of looking for a doctor too. I'm in Hong Kong as well. I've looked in Singapore and there seems to be a good doctor at the Raffles Hospital Dr. Baladas. As I said I'm still looking myself but so far he sounds good the price I've gotten so far is $11,000 U.S Hope this helps. If you find anything interested let me know! Maybe we could start a Hong Kong group.
