Yeah I have no issues drinking more then sips too. I defently will be more cautious when I move to solid food I really don't want to get any thing stuck.

Today is my 3 week post op and I'm starving I feel like I could eat all day! I am about to start my period but I feel like eating is to easy today. I was able to eat half pack of oatmeal for breakfast yogurt for snack an egg for lunch string cheese for snack and I just ate 3 oz can of spaghetti o's mashed up and feel like I can keep going. I hope this will pass when I start my period!

Yeah at three weeks there still not much choices to eat so I'm not even paying attention to carbs. I'm just eating what's on my list. Tomorrow I will start paying attention to the carbs in my food choices. I'm also at a stall so the carbs might be playing a role in that.

So I'm almost three weeks post op and from the time I came home I notice food smells different but not in a good way some stuff smells awful. The other night my husband was making a chicken breast on the George Forman grill and I swear I had to leave the room it smelled so bad. Next door to the salon I work at is a Chinese restaurant which pre op always smelled delicious now when I walk out side I gag and have to breath through my mouth to not smell it. Has this happened to any one else?

I know it's just crazy it's like I smell the oil in things now. Today I started mushies so I was excited about mashed potatoes we went to KFC and I got my side of potatoes and my husband got his regular fried chicken. I was wanting to crunch something crazy bad so I put a piece of fried cruncy part of his chicken on top of my bite of potatoes. Yuck bad idea all I could taste was oil. I won't be doing that again! I guess it's not the worst thing that I didn't like the fried taste.

I went with aceves. Your gonna pay a little bit more with him but it's worth it. Im 3 weeks post op and feel great, i had a super fast recovery and everybody there was so nice!

Omg im three weeks post op Monday and i would kill for chicken fried steak! Obviously I know I can't have it but the cravings are crazy. I really need to get this head hunger thing under control any advice? I'm hoping it will get better once I can start on real food.

My stomach itched today and with out thinking i just scratched and accidently scraped my scap on my incision by my belly button. I looked down and pulled the rest of the scap off and a stitch was attached and it's about 1 inch long just hanging out of my incision. I'm guessing they are dissolvable so should I just wait for it to fall off or should I cut it off.

I'm a hair styliest soI'm standing all day and I had a week off and was fine to go back then. Nobody at work knew I had the sugery and nobody suspected a thing.

I had sugery last Monday with dr aceves in Mexicali. I feel pretty lucky this has been pretty easy for me. I stocked up in gas x and nausea medicine and one week out havnt needed any of them. Maybe all that will come later I dunno. My pain is nearly gone. I have 4 more days of clears then movin up to full liquids. I'm 5'9 and stated this journey at 298 and as of today I've lost 16 Pounds!!! I had to step on and off a couple time to believe that. 16 pounds in 1 week is crazy! I had not regrets or buyers remorse I'm so happy I did this!

I had my sugery on Monday in Mexico and I got this acid reducer called pantozol and I think it's supposed to dissolve but it doesn't its just like little granuals. Any body else that has taken this know how to take it everyday?

The ones I got look like little crystal light packets that I think u put in Water or whatever but it doesn't dissolve its just these little balls that sink to the bottom.

I leave tomorrow too for dr aceves. Lol to bad we dont have the same Doctors! LETS DO THIS LADY'S!

I'm getting sleeved in Mexico in a week also which surgeon are you seeing?

Ok so I found this protein shake with banana, peanut butter, milk, Greek yogurt and spinach all blended up. I am still pre op so I guess I'm asking when do you think I can have this post op?

Ok so I am pre op and not quite sure About the protein drinks. So are you supposed to make a protein drink that is 1/2 cup and drink that as your meal or can you make a big glass and sip all day!

My sugery is jan 30 with dr aceves!! Yay! We're almost sleeve twins

I just keep thinking the more watered down the less proteiny it tasts but I guess that's not true.

When you make your 1/2 protein shake meal do you use the whole scoop of protein so you get all of it in?

I'm 26 getting sleeved with dr aceves on jan 30!! I'm so excited and nervous!

Ok so I'm getting sugery in Mexico my dr aceves and my husband is coming with me. What did you do with the person that came with you i was told he could stay in the hospital room with me or stay in the hotel. I'm not sure how comfortable he will be in the hospital room. Any advice??!
