    My Crazy Head.

It took me a while to figure out what "onederland" was. lol. I am a newbie. First, I just want to say, you are a size 12 at 205lbs.? so is your picture current? You look amazing. Are you tall? Do you workout a lot? Just asking because when I lost weight before VSG, I did not wear a size 12 until I reached 155 or 160. I don't see how you could be a size 12 at 205. Next, Back to the original basket case question. Just saying, you are probably not the only one afraid of onederland... . Personally, I potentially could feel the same way. in that the extra weight could be somewhat of a security blanket, a layer of protection if you will? Or the fact that you are so used to it, you would feel exposed? Ask yourself, "Why do you think you are afraid?" This must be one of the psychological hurdles of losing weight, or perhaps having to do with the reason we gain the weight in the first place. I have thought about that before. Nothing is the matter with you, you are facing your fear. That is how you can overcome it. May have to talk it out. Thoughts?
  3. Looking for people that had VSG on Nov. 8th, 2011...!? Anyone?

  4. My dr. told me that at 2 weeks the pain would get worse, and believe me it did. I thought I was off the pain meds, but had to take them another week to get over that hump. I was feeling the same sensations. Had to burp a lot, that felt better too.
  5. HI, I am 5 weeks out too. I do exactly the same thing, I eat less than a bird now. Then get hungry again pretty fast. I started making the protein shakes and sip on them throughout the day so I don't get so hungry so fast. I feel like I wasn't getting enough protein.
  6. Kksinisi....What do you put in your sheperds pie? I am 4 weeks post op and still afraid of popcorn, but wish I could eat it. Yecats when did you start to eat popcorn?

    Omg My Boobs Have Disappeared!

This topic and reading the responses is hilarious!!! I appreciate the feedback. My husband will be happy to know that I will be running into walls as well as being a spaz getting out of the recliner. Butterfingers? maybe.... lol. He is going to have a field day! So my brain is slow catching up, that is good to know too! lol. Too funny. Anyone else have issues with center of gravity?

    Omg My Boobs Have Disappeared!

Starting out I was a 44C, I will probably bottom out as a B, I hope not an A. I actually was an A when I first got married. After kids I was a B, then a C when I got heavier. Never super big to begin with. Results yet to be seen. But I really don't care that much, as long as I get this weight off. In 4 weeks I have lost probably 25-30 lbs. maybe more. I don't have a good scale and don't like to weight myself. So I will be waiting til my next drs. appt on 12/22. I am really curious because my clothes are getting baggy!!!! yeah.!! Lovin' the sleeve so far!
  9. I love soups, and I eat tons of soup. One of my favorites is the Potato Soup, it is a mix by Bear Creek, really yummy and easy to make for the whole family.
