MCG has no affiliation with the Fort Gordon Military Treatment Facility and their WLS program because they both have their own program. MCG does accommodate when births because they don't have a maternity ward. I will try to ask around and see if anybody has heard anything about their program. -

I'm having my surgery at MCG now known as Georgia Health Sciences University on May 1st by Dr. Michael Edwards. On my 7th day of 2 week liquids and it's TORTURE!!!!!! Best wishes to you all! -

I'm on day 6 of a 2 week liquid diet ~ 2 protein shakes and a sensible dinner. It is HARD!! I posted a video on YouTube (jmcbribe) about my progress. Surgery will be May 1st @ 730 am Eastern time. Im also having my hiatal hernia repaired at the same time so I expect to be real sore and gassy. I have the gas x strips and will be taking 2 prior to surgery. Anybody else on the 1st?
