Hello Everyone: I haven't been on in a long time. Recap: I had the gastric sleeve on 10/17/11 and lost 110 lbs. My starting weight was 250 and I know weight about 150. My lowest weight was 140. I gained back 10 lbs. My actual goal weight is 130. It has been a struggle to get to my goal weight but now I frustrated because I have gained back 10 lbs. I want to nip this in the bud now before it gets out of control. I looking for help. I have noticed I am craving carbs big time and seem to always be hungry. It is probably because I added coffee, bread (wheat) and Pasta back in some of my meals. Not a lot but I think enough to trigger the carb cravings. I can eat a little more than when I was first sleeved but I stick can't finish a meal. I always have to eat an appetizer size meal. Please any suggestions you have to help me please, because I want to control my cravings, hungry and lose to get to my goal weight of 130 lbs. I was thinking about trying the 5 day pouch test. Has anyone tried and it and did it work. Thanks looking forward to help.

Hello Friends I was sleeved on October 17, 2011. My highest weight was 250, lowest weight was 140. My goal weaight is 130 (havent made it yet). I lost 110 lbs. I have only gained back 10 lbs. So I now weight 150. I'm trying to find a way to fight off the carb cravings & being hungry all the time. What have all of you experienced since getting sleeved. I'm live in Connecticut. Any help or advice you can give would be appreciated. I've been thinking about trying the 5 day pouch test. Have any of you tried it and received results? -
Any CT Sleevers in this Forum? If so, who is your surgeon? I live in CT and hoping to get sleeved. I am deciding between two different surgeons/hospital. Dr. Valin or Dr. Bell. Looking for advice.

Hello All - I am new to this site and happy to get a fresh outlook on the sleeve. I am hoping to get sleeved in 3 months. I am nervous and also can't wait to start my new healthy life. I do have a few questions so any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. What is the long term results of seasoned sleevers? Have you reached goal and kept if off? How much hair loss have you experienced/when does it start/when does it end? Any regrets about getting sleeved and wish you decided on another surgery instead? I understand the recovery is much harder than the other WLS surgeries? Do you still get/feel hungry since the hunger hormone is removed during surgery?
