I have been tearing my hair out stalled at 214 lbs. for the past two weeks, but I started trying on clothes last night and I realized that I may need at least some new jeans or capris. I started this journey wearing a size 22, these jeans I bought today are a 16... back atcha scale... This has motivated me to keep eating right and going to the gym and making it happen. No Drinking With Food .... Why?
BluebonnetMagonlia replied to Cherrybomb's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know when I ate & drank...it made me feel totally stuffed , just wanting to burp so I can breathe... So I take my time & eat , wait 30 min & then I drink..I will admit that I didn't understand why we had to do this until it happened to me....Basically it makes for a happy sleeve Operation Sexy 2012 in full effect! -
Embrace Your Stall And Enjoy Your Success..inches Will Equal Lbs.
BluebonnetMagonlia posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I have been in a stall for about 3 weeks, but I have notice inches coming off, but I will admit not seeing the scale move was internally driving me crazy!!! But I did enjoy buying smaller clothes even though the scale held steady at 214 lbs... I kept going to the gym and working out, eating my Proteins first, drinking my liquids, etc.. just trying to stay positive and encouraged and BAM! I did my 8 wk post op weigh in and the scale read 210 lbs... down 22 lbs since surgery 39 total weight lost!! So my bottom line is that inches will equal pounds and inches will get you in a smaller size before the scale catches up with you Operation Sexy 2012 in full effect! -

But I find skirts seem to work better for work right now...I did try watermelon fr the first time today & it was delicious!!!! Thank you all for the encouraging words.....it really feels good to have a team around me!

New Feb Sleevers Any Regrets? Best And Worst Thing So Far
BluebonnetMagonlia replied to andi0120's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh thank you for posting this..I am day to day with my regrets...I am at a stall & sometimes I think wow...I am only eating a small amt of food(mushies at that) and this is all the weight I am going to lose....I can't believe I went through all this to wear a size 18 from a 22 .... And other days I am in my happy place.... The positives for me...my pain didn't last long, i had one day of bad gas...now since I have to, I am taking my needed Vitamins.... It seems as though i am gonna spend my life reheating food b/c I get full so quick...maybe it's b/c my tummy is still a little swollen, I don't know.... My emotions are all over the place....ahhhhh!!!! Ok..back n my happy place!!! -
Happy One Month Surgiversary 2/6 Sleevers
BluebonnetMagonlia posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey 2/6 sleevers..I celebrated my 4 week post op today with a big ole turkey burger with french fries and a large sprite....Ha Ha Ha Just Kidding...lol lol ... I enjoyed my tiny helping of mashed potatoes. I had my proteins and my liquids today. So I am satisfied. I have reached a stall point; I have been at 216 since last week. But I am pretty sure I will get back to losing if I just keep with the program. Just stopping by to say Hey to my buddies...GL everyone on your journey -
For seasoned Sleevers .... Is it really gonna take me several hours to eat a slider once I am completely healed.

Worst Day So Far :(
BluebonnetMagonlia replied to goldenraisin214's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You are not alone, I had the same kind discomfort the other day...I started on cream soup and OMG my shoulder and my back hurt worse than ever, but I took a gas x and walked around my house and (this may be to graphic but we're all family) My great aunt told me to put a pillow on my stomach and lay with my butt to the ceiling and face down in the bed and rock..and after about 5 min..Great Release!!!!! After that I slept like a baby Today I did something different I took a Gas X about 15 min before I ate and after I was finished eating and so far no gas...I have been resting a lot, and I am taking full advantage I want to heal and get as much rest as I can We will get through this...Operation Sexy 2012 in full effect! -
