  1. Not sure what to say to that. Any friend worth keeping would be supportive and positive for you, not dump you because of jealousy or meanness... It sounds like she needs to have a equal person around to justify her lack of desire to change. Just my opinion..
  2. Hello, I'm new to the forums and would like to introduce myself. I've been overweight for a few years now, and have the normal issues: Type 2 Diabetes, HBP, High Cholesterol, damanged knees, problems with my hip, and other weight related issues. I currently weight 375 and gaining weight rapidly due to inactivity. I've had multiple Pulmonary Embolism's over the last 18 months that limit my activity. I'm scheduled for my first Consultation in a couple of weeks for WLS, and to discuss which procedure would be best. I'm thinking "iBand" = Lapband + Gastric Plication and is worded to be pretty successful. Any words of encouragement or support is always accepted. Thanks for listening, Claud

New To Lapbandtalk.. 1st Consultation Coming Up..

Healthy and Happy: That is some amazing results in such a short time. I realize all results are individual, but it's very encouraging to me to see all the positive experiences. My biggest roadblock is identifying ways to exercise at first that isn't going to leave me at the bottom of the stairs unable to get back home (I live on the 3rd floor and no elevator). I'm beginning to think that will be non-issue after a bit. I'm having to work with my Wife to help understand what diet changes need to be made. It's going to help her also. Thanks again for the good vibes!
