Im 22 years old, and ive pretty much struggled with weight my whole life. My weight would always go up and down, and any (and i tried alot) diets i would do, i would lose 5-10 pounds but thats it. I believe I need/needed something drastic as lapband surgery to be able to finally get it through my head that I needed to lose weight, that i may not be sick or unhealthy now, but in the future i will be.
