Hi, my name is Becky. I had the lap band surgery performed by Dr. Soong on November 22, 2011. My first week was very succesful, I lost 14 lbs. However the second week I ended up in intensive care, completely dehydrates with diabetic ketosis. This is not what I expected. I have been out of the hospital for 3 days now. I am still fighting with dehydration issues again. Has anybody else had this problem or have any suggestions. I am following the diet to the t and drinking plenty of liquids. I am very happ to say I am down 18lbs but don't have any energy to do anything.
