I have put the HP on the side. The pain is there due to a nerve that the port sits near. That is what I have heard anyway. If you have new wounds don't heat over them. It really helped my pain

twi replied to loretta\ Baconton Georgia's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

I'm just starting to feel like I'm hugery. I had no appetite mostly I think due to pain Meds and antibiotics for foot. I had some shoulder pain a couple of days thank God its gone now. -

Am I Too Tight Or Is The What You Consider The Green Spot
twi replied to 3musketeers's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
More to this question: do you have to much tightness first few days? As with swelling ect. -
I was told to crush mine. I bought a crusher at drug store. I take my pills with a tso of pudding or Apple sauce. Check with your pharmacy about the the pills you take there are some pills you can not take crushed.

Oh I also add plain protein powder to eggs milk soup ect. I don't add much just a 1/2 tsp. Figure it has to add some value. I'm going to try adding to reg. Meals when I get to that stage.
-
I'm taking vits liquid B and multi chews. I make sure I get all my protein needs with shakes. But I do worry a little I'm not getting enough too?

I knw this site is for us all but I use it for new info and support/ motivation. It does erk me when that person comments but now I just over look that name and go on. She maybe having problems. I read hers before surgery and it didn't change my mind. So since the comments aren't supportive/ helpful to me I just skim over them to something more motivate
