I saw a pair of Levis SKINNY jeans at Kohls that have my name on them! I have skinny legs anyway but can't wait for a flatter belly! I have lost almost 5 inches off my abdomen since surgery! YAY!

How do you drink so much water if you are only supposed to have 4 oz of fluid at a time and then have to wait for 1/2 hour? Or am I confused?

I had bad back and shoulder pain and my doc said it was a case of plueresy and very common. Ask him if you can have an injection of Toradol. You will feel great after that. However i agree that you should not be eating solid foods yet and should probably still be on full liquids. Do you have a dietician available in his office?

I was told to avoid the hungry feeling to make sure I wait 30 minutes between eating and drinking.

Is yoga a good thing to do for exercise or is it just to stretch and relax or what? There is a new studio opening near me in january and I wonder if it is worth it?

What is so special about Greek yogurt? I have tried so many brands and flavors and cannot stand it! I love other yogurts though.

As you may recall I had a super long surgery since my sleeve was followed by a 2 hour procedure to get my stomach from being lodged unbtween my lungs. My sleeve part is great but aftern 6 days home on a liquid diet and seeing my dr, for fu, he even extended me to fll liquids, the pain in the side of my back and right shoulder was so excrutuiting that I ended back up in e hospital Friday. That pain was so horrific' I could not explain it. I had some ct scans to check for leaks and blood clots. Everything with my sleeve aok and no pain. Now They have found a small leak where the dr repaired my esophagus to my diaphragm and it must heal itself beofre I can have any even ice chips or clear liquids again. So now I am on a PICC iv and need to wait another few days in the hospital to have another swallow test. I am so bummed. But please note that this situation has nothing to do with my sleeve, only the hernia repair surgery. I have completely forgotton about the sleeve at this point and am worrying that the esophagus leak will not heal itself. I would still have it one again, but this was just simething that happened after the hernia repair, it wanso complex.

There is a great cookbook for wsl called Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummies (the typical dummie book ) It has sections on smooth foods, pureed, soft etc. and is very educational. I got mine at B&N, but they also hae it at Amazon. They also have another bool for wsl for dummies, so make surenyou are getting the one with the food on the cover, not the pair of jans.

I tried the bed tonight and no way! Had to come back down to the recliner. I think I will pick up a body pillow tomorrow and try it. Thanks for the idea!

I too had this insomnia problem from the night of my surgery. I do not sleep on my back, always side and tummy. i found that the recliner was the option since it would allow you to sleep without sliding down. Finally tonight after Inhad my drain removed today, I will try the bed tonight! Good luck!

Had my postop today 8 days out! Removed my drain, and got promoted froma CLEAR liquid to a FULL liquid diet. Found a geat liittle bowl with a four oz. maker just for me! Down 20 pounds! YAY! Next step PUREED in a couple of weeks. Hope all the December Sleevers are recovering nicely!!!!!!
