I heard people put dry Hidden valley Ranch dressing mix into Greek yougurt. Although I cannot stomach Greek yogurt, but alot of people use it for different dips.

High Protein Bars That Are Sooo Good!
SleeveDreamer replied to Michelle Wolfe's topic in Vegetarian, vegan, raw foods
These sound great. I would like the carb count also though. I am not a fan of any store bought proten bar I have tried yet. They are either too sweet or too dense for me. I really don't have a sweet tooth, so I would love to make some of these tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. -
Day 4 Can't Get Enough In. Yikes
SleeveDreamer replied to Nikki_1985's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't worry and don't try to rush. Just get in what you can. You can sip the water all day. Don't gulp or try to drink alot at once. I am 11 weeks out and I can have anything to eat and 8 oz. at a time, and I cannot get 8 oz. in. It will get easier after the first week. Just take in slow and you will be OK. Good luck! -
I think you need to call CareCredit and find out. That doesn't seem right to me. I was told no matter how long it was for, you can pay it off early with no penalty.

Can I Just Live Off Muscle Milk Light Please?! =)
SleeveDreamer replied to AllForMy4's topic in Food and Nutrition
I just bought a Muscle Milk Light in chocolate to try! I am burnt out on Premier brand, and I want to at least continue to drink one shake a day for muscle mass. My doctor says it certainly can't hurt. Hope I like it! -
Questions From Someone Considering Vsg
SleeveDreamer replied to Finding Myself's topic in Food and Nutrition
I was only 55 lbs. overweight, but it was all in my abdomen (very dangerous area). I have lost 35 lbs. and almost 7 inches in my abdomen. I also had a very complex hiatial hernia repair from a surgery I had in 1999 that reversed itself somehow, so 1/3 of my stomach was over my diaphragm lodged between my lungs. I feel so much better and only have 20 lbs. more to lose. My BMI was only 32, but my body fat % was 51% and is now down to 38%. My surgery was 12/14/11. I would definitely do it again. I feel sooo good now, and so will you! -
Go for it! Awesome!

The Basics Boot Camp
SleeveDreamer replied to LilMissDiva Irene's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Starting your boot camp today Diva! Need to get rid of some fluids from the TPN! -
I have a treadmill at home and I also walk along the beach traiil as much as possible, but I really need to tone up my upper arms. I have two friends who go to Curves, and they swear by it. Both of my doctors say that Curves is a waste of money and not beneficial. Do any of you go to Curves and what is your feeling about getting results from there? It is hard for me to believe that from what I hear about the workouts, you can get any results at just 1/2 hour a day on all the machines, but I can't really say since I have never seen it in action. I met a bunch of ladies yesterday at a Bunco party who all go to Curves, and they didn't especially look trim. (Although it may just be a social outlet for them)! Please give me your opinion on Curves if you have gone and tell me if it works or not (for my upper arms)! And is it expensive, or is it better to just go to a women's gym and concentrate on the upper arms? i don't want to get into a long term contract or anything. Thanks so much! Janet

Chopped brussels sprouts sound really good. What is kale? Do you eat it raw or cook it? What is the taste similiar to? -

Would someone please post this 5 day boot camp diet? thanks! -
I am 10 1/2 weeks out and Thursday the doctor said I could eat anything now including bread. I bought some of the Oroweat thin sandwich rounds (multi-grain 100 cal) and had a peanut butter and jelly on toast yesterday. It tasted soo good. Today for lunch I could finally have my turkey burger on the same sandwich round. What a difference! Still can't eat much over 4 oz. at a time though. No problems whatsoever! Oroweat also makes the sandwich rounds in a mini-size in whole wheat only and is 50 cal. I will start using those for lunchtime sandwiches. Still love my open face melt sandwiches in the toaster oven on WASA crackers though! Tonight I will have steak for the first time since December 5th! Can't wait! I am scared to try some popcorn, cuz I am afraid it may get stuck. I heard they had whole grain unpopped popcorn in health foor stores. Has anyone ever heard of that? Don't get discouraged with your liquid and mushee diets, cuz regular food will be there before you know it! Love my sleeve!

How many times a week do you have to go? Do you have to sign like a 6 month or so contract? I need it to tone my upper arms, like I said.. I am only about 20 lbs. from my weight loss goal. Thanks!

Never heard of it. Can someone explain?
