    Amylu Chicken Burgers From Costco

I don't remember when i was cleared for chicken if it was soft foods or regular. You can chew these up much easier than regular chicken breast.

    7Th Day Post Op Vsg

Most people are on liquids for at least a week. That is anything you can see through or sf jello or sf popsicles. No protein drinks yet. Your sleeve needs time to heal so don't push it. You will go to full liquids next and then mushies. Do you have an eating plan from your Doctor or nutritionist? if not, you should stay on clear liquids at least another week. You said should you take smaller bites? You shouldn't be eating anything yet that you should have to take bites for!

    Getting Crazy About Ephedrine?

You will lose the weight if you have been sleeved. you need to be patient and just follow your doctor's instructions. You don't want to do something that may cause you to have a heart attack. Why is there a hurry to lose the weight? You don't want tp take anything or do anything that will put you at risk. The weight doesn't come off overnight. Perhaps you should go talk with a therapist if ou are thinking about taking this drug to see why you feel that way.

I have tried several brands and flavors of Greek yogurt and I can't stand the taste of it, or maybe the consistency, I don't know. I tried though!

    Salad!

i was also a salad lover, and still like it and have it, but I find I do not like iceberg lettuce at all because you get the feeling you cannot chew it well enough, so i had to switch to romaine or bibb, or spinach. you may find you don't like the foods you liked before!

    Long Term Unknown Results

You need to take care of yourself now and try to prevent any greater obesity and complications such as heart issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. You are only 20 years old and weigh 255. If you don't make this decison now, you may not be around in 20 years. 85% of our stomach is cutoff when ou get sleeved. It's not like the lap band or some type of surgery where something is placed inside you. You need to get healthy now. You will feel so much better and healthier now, and not worry about 20 years out!

    Calories

I am 3 months out and not even to 1200 calories yet! I would say that is way too many!
  10. You will be able to eat it, but we are supposed to have whole grain Pasta which I hate and won't eat. So I do have just a tiny amount of regular and eat my three meatballs first for my Protein and then a little bit of spaghetti, but by that time I am full! I was 3 months out yesterday. Don't think you won't be able to eat regular foods agin, cuz you will!

Best Nsv Ever! I'm A Finalist!

    OK I voted! Good luck!
  13. Wow that is a great weight loss! What type of exercises are you doing?
  14. Today is my three months too. Although i have lost 37 lbs., and clothes falling off, I feel like I am not losing fast enough. I agree with Dorrie that I can't get in over 800 cal. per day and I will not eat sweets or junk food. I do not have a problem eating the right foods and I walk everyday. I should be happy and I am, but i feel it's going too slow. I really only have 18 lbs. to go since I was only 55 lbs. heavy. I will not give up either, but it is frustrating.

    Best Arms Workout!

This is now my issue too. I am getting saggy in my inner upper arms. Is that the biceps? he told me to start working out each day with 5 lb. weights. I also notice it in my upper legs under my crotch area. I love it though! I am thinking about a short term contract at the gym across the street just for my arm problem. i am also going to start an aquatics exercise class since I have heard water exercise can't be beat.

    Great Post Op Book

I have this book and love it. It has some great recipes for things that are a little different, so you won't get bored with the same old thing. I am actually going through it today and planning some meals for this week!

    One Week Post Op

Keep it up and good luck. the pounds will be falling off soon.
  20. My doctor said that Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, and Aleve) is the worst thing you can do for your sleeve, because it causes bleeding in the stomach regardless of how long it has been. As I said it even says that on the Aleve bottle. I don't like Tylenol either, does nothing for me. But it is weird that before my sleeve, I took Execdrin Migrane (which also is not good for your stomach) when I woke up every night for a so called sinus headache. Since I have been sleeved, I have not had one headache! Go figure. Anyway I did throw out the Advil and Motrin anfter reading the disclosures and decided I must not take it anymore, and bought a bottle of Tylenol extra strength arthritis that is stronger than even extra-strength Tyelnol. You may be surprised though and when you lose the weight, you may find that your cramping is not so severe. Hope so. Please ask your doctor how he feels about it and then read the Aleve bottle. It is scary. Notice they don't disclose that on the TV commercials.

    Salad!

You really need to follow your doctor's guidleines. I couldn't eat banana til soft foods, and i wasn't cleared for bread (toast) until 10 weeks. Bread can swell easily and they don't recommend that you have it until your sleeve is healed, and then you should stick to toasted. You can eat crackers before that though, so when you are cleared for crackers, try the WASA crispbreads. You can make melts on them and everything. Actually I am almost 13 weeks and don't even want bread anymore. Your taste will definitely change and you may not even like what you used to love. I could eat all meat except steak i could not have until 10 weeks. Chicken was Ok for me on soft foods.
  22. My doctor said absolutely no Ibruprofen. Only Tylenol. Ibruprofen can cause bleeding in your stomach (It is stated in their disclosure).. In fact you you read an Aleve bottle, itr actually states that on the label.

    Salad!

I eat salad with no problem. I started it about 6 or 7 weeks. Although I like eating romaine. or spinach, or other lettuces rather than normal iceberg. It seems like it is harder to chew. Try starting with small diced pieces of your other ingredients, and just a couple leaves, and see how it goes. If you are craving it, your cravings should be satisfied even though you aren't having alot of lettuce. You can find a chopped veggie mix (Trader Joe's is called Healthy 8 Veggie Mix), but I have seen it at other grocery stores too. It has diced radishes, jicama, celery, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, green cabbage, and green pepper. Just pour a tad of ranch dressing on it and it is really good and crunchy too.
