Riding In A Car..
SleeveDreamer replied to MirandaK's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You will need to walk as much as possible. You may have alot of gas pain (which is common) and you really need to get up and walk. I personally think you may be too uncomfortable. You don't know how your leeve will react to liquids either. Luckily I was never nauseated, but many people are. It would be awful to be out on a highway in the middle of nowhere and be sick. -
I didn't mean that you were doing something you shouldn't be. I just have never heard of a soft protein stage at all. Normally it is clear liquids, full liquids, mushies, soft foods, regular foods. I guess all doctors are different with their eating plans. Perhaps if you are nauseated though, it would be best to stick to the liquids for a few days. Some people cannot handle eggs after this surgery, so maybe tat applies to you. Give it another week or so and try again. Good luck!

I have lost 41 lbs. and was never nauseated nor had any pain at all. I am only 15 lbs. from my goal. I love my sleeve and it loives everything I eat. I still can't eat over 8 oz. at a time and I can't get in over 800 calories a day but I get in alot of Protein and drink a gallon of flavored Water a day. Take Bariatric Advantage chewable multi-Vitamins and Iron pills. I have gone from a size 18 to a size 8. Please, please follow your doctor's orders for pre-op and post-op diet and don't try to rush things after surgery. Your time will come when you can eat regular foods again. You need to give your stomach a chance to heal. Good luck! -
If you are only one week, you should most likely be on either clear liquids or full liquids, which would not include eggs. Your stomach needs time to heal. try sticking to liquids for another week before you move on to full liquids. Don't rush it, you are not helping yourself by doing that.
-
Please try to follow your doctor's diet instructions. if you are cheating on your pre-op diet, you will most likely do the same on the post-op and may not be the best thing for your new sleeve. Be careful.

Scared I Will Gain If I Eat.

I would say you shouldn't be eating chips at all at 5 weeks out! I was not allowed things like that until at least 10 weeks. -
Not Your Daughters Jeans For Sale Cheap
SleeveDreamer posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have several Not Your Daughter's Jeans for sale in a size 16P and 14P. I bought them all at Nordstrom (around 80-100.00 each) and they are in excellent shape and hardly ever worn. I will be listing them on ebay soon but wanted to give you guys a chance if you want them for 10.00 a pair. I need to try to sell them rather than thrift them since they are in excellent shape, and I need some extra money to get new jeans, since I am now in a size 8! YAY! Send me a private message if you are interested and I will send you the details on them. Janet -
I Feel Like A Bottomless Pit Today
SleeveDreamer replied to rodswife's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am feeling that way too today. My husband wanted to go out for lunch and have Mexican food so I had a taco, which I didn't really want and ever since then I have been hungry. UGH. -

Memorial Day Challenge!
SleeveDreamer replied to Forensikchic's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I only have 15 lbs. to go to my goal, and I know I can do it by Memorial Day! YAY! CW 150 GW 135 -
I was not in a stall, but almost to my goal, so I thought maybe I could speed things up a bit. Yesterday I woke up and was not hungry at all. So I had a Muscle Milk Light Caffe Latte for breakfast. Then for a snack I had a small can of V8 juice. Then at lunchtime I still wasn't hungry so I had a Pure Protein Chocolate drink. never was hungry even for an afternoon snack. About 4:00 I thought I should probably eat something even though still not hungry. Made myself a salad with chopped romaine and RTE cut up chicken breast from Costco. Never hungry the rest of the night. I drink MIO flavored water all day and probably take in about a gallon a day. This morning I am down 2 pounds and feel great. I guess my point is, if you definitely aren't hungry, it may be worth it to try this as long as you have RTD protein drinks on hand. I always keep them, even though I usually don't have trouble getting protein in. I still can't even get in 800 calories a day, and don't have any trouble at all getting in the right foods. I am 4 months out today and now only 15 pounds from my goal. Yesterday I bought a size 8 pair of Levi Skinny jeans. I have very skinny legs! I chew a Bariatric Advantage Iron pill and two Bariatric Advantage Complex Multi Vitamins each day. May be a great way to break a stall. I will definitely do this liquid thing at least once a week or if not hungry, just have a RTD protein drink for a meal. Only the RTD though. I could never handle any I had to make from powder. LOVE MY SLEEVE SOOO MUCH!

Question About Premiere Shakes
SleeveDreamer replied to SexySlim's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I used the Premier RTD shakes from Costco and never had clumps? How weird. I have tried the Muscle Milk ones now and they are much smoother, but a little on the sweet side for me. -

My BMI was 32 and I ony had 55 lbs. to lose, but it was all in my abdomen. I am only 15 lbs. away from my goal. Everone goes through stalls, so don't worry. Continue to take your vitamins, drink lots of water and get tahtbprotein in and you will do fine. -
