The last couple days were the hardest for me. I kept myself super busy and before I knew it i was at the hospital being prepped. YOU CAN DO IT!

I was in Germany recently and met a woman who had also had the band. She told me that most of Europe is going with the sleeve now. In the end it's a personal preference but definitely worth looking into

To Fill Or Unfill That Is The Question?

Nothing wrong with having a little taken out. As long as you stick to portion control you will be golden. -
Just keep moving! The week following surgery I just kept wandering around my house all day. Gas was gone in no time.

How is the recovery so far?

Thanks! :-D

It's like any other shot. Hurts a little for a sec then it's done. I just use what little pain there is as a reminder to take this seriously. Some docs say liquids/soft foods for 48 hours post fill and some don't. I would recommend doing it either way. Best!

I received my band on 11/30. I had horrible back pain for the first 24 hours or so but that has subsided. Still have discomfort around the incisions but i was expecting that. Getting out of bed is tough because no matter which way i move it hurts the wounds. Im also having terrible dry mouth but i am guessing that is from the pain meds. I have been sticking with gatorade, home made apple sauce and Protein shakes so far. Im so glad i had the operation. 3 weeks before my surgery i was laid off and lost my health insurance. I was devestated! But i talked with the hospital and they signed me up for free care. The whole procedure cost me nothing!
