I was banded yesterday...you definitely experience more pain on day two...but its manageable. Good luck to all! -
Good luck! I was banded today as well...most of my pain is in the main/large incision

My main pain is at the main incision site...the muscle in the area hurts.

I'm home and recovering...surgery was today at 7am. Only pain I'm feeling is the biggest incision site

its free..though they have an add-on if you want specialists to email you for advice, etc...its like 40-60 a year or something....

you get a charger that plugs into your laptop and when you are within so many feet of the charger the charger will download the information and upload it to your fitbit account. Now its up to you to download the android or ipad/ipod touch application so you can put in the food stuff.... I found a used FITBIT on ebay...I paid 75 for it.

gastric bypass requires daily supliments for the rest of your life the sleeve requires daily vitamins lapband...doesn't hurt and you should take them when you are in a liquid stage, etc. -
i just got a fitbit. It records your steps, elevation, and you can record your eating habits and it records your sleep patterns.

My surgeon has stated that a chewable is needed until you get back to regular foods but you don't need permanent suppliments with the band. (unlike gastric bypass, etc). -

She must have stretched it back out....but my surgeon has said he's had a few band over bypass -
woohoo! congrats! Such an inspiration. I hope to lose 50 pounds by the end of the year. We'll see.

I'm definitely ready for surgery. Bought a fitbit so i can record my steps and flights and I'll also log what i eat on my fitbit android app. It also records your sleep pattern because the correct amount of sleep is also important in losing weight. I fully expect everyone on here to whoop my behind if I slack behind.

i just found a fitbit on ebay for $75.00 (including shipping). So I'm a fitbit owner! I'll get to use it starting the day after my surgery!

I'm being banded 6/4/2012 at 7:30am. I'm on a liver reduction diet and have lost 5 lbs in a weeks time. It's not so bad! -
