OMG i am getting so dicouraged!!! My stall is still continuing, and its almost 3 weeks now..... What can the reason be??? I am almost 7 weeks post op. i dont drink protein shakes but do eat tons of chicken. I tracked my calories yesterday and seemed to have gotten about 600calories in plus about 60gr of protein so what else do u think i am doing wrong?

Day of surgery i weighed in at 238 today ( and for the last 3 weeks) i weighed in at 215 ...so that would be 23 lbs

So i am ending my 5th week Post op and I have been stuck at 217 for about 2 weeks now.. i am so bummed and just wanted to share with you... I cannot wait for this little bump to go down so that my weight loss can continue...

I remember seeing someone post a picture of the Boogie (hopefully i spelled this right) sizes used when doing the sleeve but I can't seem to find that picture. Does anyone have a picture of the differnt sizes ??

yes that is what i have read, and i finally asked my surgeon what size he used and he said 34 french... well now i wanna see the photo that compares it to the size of a pen or marker or highlighter lol....

Sorry for the miss spelled words i am using my phone lol... It does have 15g of protein but most protein shakes list whey protein or soy protein in the ingredients list but i dont see that so im juat curious if anyone know what kind of protein it has and if that kind of protein is a good kind...

Thank you! I will check out the site.. But did u also see the actual ingredients, its doesnt have any "peotein" listed so how do we know it meets the criteria?? I am just hopeing its not tooo good to be true lol

I also agree it will be tough. I am 4 weeks post op and just barley starting to get back to a normal state....

So today i have only ate 1 egg white mixed w/ hald slice of turkey. Then has a tiny peice of bannana. Thennn we went to the movies and i had 2 bannana chips and a tiny bite of a sour worm.... Its been about 4 hours since then and i feel like hell.... I just vomited and it was bright yellow and directly after i had diareah... Do u think it was because of what i ate??? And if so should i avoid eating anything else for the remainder of the day??? I still feel so nauseated!!! Should i be worried?????

Yes i totally agree that bite although it was small was a total no no... And my new sleeve is showing me that.. I havent stopped vomiting since, there isnt anything in my tummy so its just a bunch of dry heeving now. Just worried i will now get dehydrated since i can not hold down water!!!! I hope this stops soon!!!

Oh and btw i am 4 weeks post op!

Surgery: 4/27 Starting weight: 245 Day of surgery: 238 As of 5/19: 220 Weight lost post-surgery- 18 lbs! I also feel as if i am not getting enough calories is. I know my Water is so not what its supposed to be either but i keep trying.

I am 3 weeks out as well and man have i not been able to find any protein shakes that i can drink.. I know i have to be drinking them but having to sip a drink that tastes nasty is just to hard!! I think i might also try that chike one...

Ur urine should may be dark in the AM but it needs to be clear or close to it by the afternoon. If its not then ur probably not getting enough fluid. Thats what my Dr told me...

I feel the same way and i am only two weeks out. And i read these threds everyday and just wish i had the wilpower that the others do just to forget food. The mental struggle is so much harder then i thought it would be...

I am 2 1/2 weeks post op and was curious to see if anyone knows why my surgeon wont allow me to have fruits yet?? Also for those that do eat fruits, which are easy to eat and which do u recommend staying away from???

Thank you all. Great information! It all makes sense now... I did have greek yogart with blueberries and afterwards i felt like i broke the law lol but it settled good and based on all your info i will refrain from it until approved, cuz i dont want to over work my new friend.

I was sleeved 4/27 and i gotta say at this point in the process i have not had any complications at all ( thank god) however i am still struggling with regret as to why i did this. Its a mental challenge and i know it will get easier in time however right now it is really rough to watch ur family eat whatever they want as u eat ur small spoonfull of yogart... This is just my opinion.. And i hope everyday it starts getting easier.... Good luck to u....

I just had my 5 day post op apt with the surgeon today and they moved me to puree's already! I am kinda nervouse...

I am so glad it sounds like others are going through what i am. I had my surgery on 4/27. And my right side incision still bothers me when i walk.. Boooo... I have not had any protien either, but mu surgeon told me not to worry about the protein for the 1st week. It is easy for me to drink but am scared that i may over do it... I also have a think film on my tongue that worries me, it only feels awful when i talk alot, but i just hope i dont get thrash tongue ( hope i spelled that right) anyone else have or exerience that???

Had my sleeve done on friday 4/27!! When people said they had gas pains i really thought i knew what that was but now i have a whole new meaning! It feels like a horse is sitting on ur chest! I am totally in the regret stage and know it will pass but this isnt as much as a breeze as i thought it was!!! Cant wait to get to a normal state again!!!!

My surgery date is scheduled for 4/27! I am soo worried that after the surgery my HEAD cravings wont go away!!! I know my issues with food are mental, but can people who have actually had the surgery tell me if those mental hunger issues go away afterwards or is it still a stuggle to mentally tell your self not to eat the unhealthy foods???
