its getting so close i have 1 more week of pre op diet..... then its clear liquids then the big day!!! but 1st lets get through medical clearance appt and pre op class!!!! 9 more days ahhhh!!! I have so many emotions but mostly I just want to have it done with!

im drinking 5 protein shakes and 1 meal that 4-6 oz protein and 2 cups veggies and im down 3 lbs and its only day 4. sooo psyched!!! just wanted to share!

I'm Jessica, I am 29 years old. I am married to my best friend for a little over a year. I live in South Florida. I have struggled with my weight for the past 8 years. It got to the point where I was able to lose 80 lbs at one point, but over the last 4 years it got me to this point. I have even tried just eating sensible and hitting the gym but that didn't work out so well. Which is very discouraging because I am a certified personal training/spinning instructor. I had to stop working in the fitness field because I gained to much weight. So I work in the retail field. I am having my surgery done by Dr. Paul Wizman in Margate Fl @ Northwest Medical Center. I enjoy watching the Florida Gators, New York Giants, and the New York Mets! I like going to the beach, being with my friends and family, reading a good book. I wish everyone such a wonderful journey!

Sooooo much has happened in the past 2 weeks and it really has crept up on me. I had my psych evaluation, i start my pre op diet on mon 1/10/12 which will put me 15 days out before surgery. I have my medical clearance appt 1/16, then my pre op class on 1/17, then my big day is 1/24!!!!! and i am getting so ready for it already!

Hi!! I'm Jessica. I've been lurking for a few days, I just started the process last week, I went to an informational session. I have decided to continue with the process I am at the point where I'm interviewing surgeons. I live in the South Florida area. A little about me. I've always been thin, I was a figure skater growing up, stopped when I turned 18 and went off to college, gained a lot of weight, moved to Israel for 2.5 years and lost 80lbs. I went from 217lbs down about 135ish. Became a personal trainer, was diagnosed with PCOS, got married a little over a year ago and in the past 3 years I put on about 125lbs. But I am ready to change myself for the better and I can't wait to begin! Nice to meet you!!!
