    One Month Of Running And...

Great job, keep up the good work!
  3. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all !..

  4. On Decaf Tea contains theophylline ( maybe spelling it wrong), my surgeon pointed out to me that that is an appetite stimulant and only to have one cup per day... or use one bag a couple of times... or take the risk of getting the hungries.. passing this on
  5. Nausea (extreme) for me was hospital related, and drug/surgery related. Many of the drugs can make you nauseous. I was given many anti nausea drugs and for the most part was still nauseated but less so. Took some pills prescribed for three days after coming home... and mine went away. My surgeon told me that the surgery itself is very much nausea causing.. ( I had not had any nausea prior).. i dont know about cannibus tea, at home.. but the herbal teas have theophylline my surgeon told me which induces hunger so be aware of how much herbal tea you drink.. I was drinking it all day long.. sip sip. I now use one bag.. all day. Just remember it should clear up after the hospital stay in a couple days... you will get thru it..
  6. congrats!! Proud to hear of your success and most of all satisfaction with the way you look! Quite a breakthrough moment.
  7. Congrats!.. be prepared. strengthen legs with exercise so its easy to get up and down. Know you will feel less than great day 1-2 for sure.. have someone there for you to help you. Take an eyeshade , its hard enough to sleep it blacks out the room. I took a computer didn't touch it, nor magazines, nothing. Just make yourself get up and walk a few times per day.... try to sleep! its a sleep depriving experience all in all, very hard to rest in a hospital. Prepare for possible nausea, gassiness, pressure... Pain is tolerable..with pain meds. AND GOOD LUCK!
  8. some wise WLsers told me when hungry so early post op its head hunger and stomach acid.. I take one prevacid AM and one PM and it takes away that fake HUNGER PANG.. right away... so glad I learned this I am on soft foods as well.. VSG 11-15-11. shakes, Soups, soft chicken, soft turkey. ricotta with spagetti sauce n cheese is really good nuked.
  9. do you mean the water weight during surgery? if so I gained 12 pounds.
  10. Pookeyism, My drain was in for almost 48 hours couldn't wait to get it out ( painless).. the stuff they often give the day 2 AM for leak test does taste bad, and the wheelchair ride made me feel ill. The Xray was super quick, got back to the room and then threw it up. My only time actually getting sick, as opposed to feeling sick.
