Yesterday I went with a friend who was sleeved yesterday. She had other friends there whom I did not know. They were concerned for her because they knew nothing of this surgery. I explained to them she will be fine because I also had the surgery from the same doc. They started laughing and said oh now that explains it cause girlfriend we were just discussing amonst ourselves that we don't know who this girl is but her dress is too big for her and she needs some new clothes lol.

FAQ - I've only been sleeved 1 week why have I only lost 2 lbs? Answer - You've only been sleeved 1 week. Your body may still have iv fluids and this may take a couple of weeks to exit your body. Please be patient as you will not get thin over night. You did not gain weight over night.

45 lbs in 3 months is awesome. I'm 4 months out and I'm down 50 lbs and I am so happy. We all are different and you are doing a great job. Please hang in there. I'm not where I want to be but thank GOD I'm not where I used to be.

I do not have a scale because I only weigh in at doc's office. I just get more excited when I weigh and see a loss rather than weigh all the time and be disappointed. That's just me. I wish you all the best.
