Don't worry, you are not raining on my parade because remember my doctor is the one who told me to eat them. Every doctor has different guidelines for their patients and this is the program he set up for me. Now your nutritionist may have a different program set up for you. Thanks for posting your concern. I wish you the best on your journey.

I fell in love with them all over again. I get real creative now.

Changing From Band To Sleeve ..
100%Sleeved replied to Luisa4ever21's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I never had the band but yes you definitely feel the difference right away. For instance, water was hard to drink at first but now I'm 2 months out and I can drink plenty. Also you will feel it everytime you eat because your stomach is still tender. All of this will get better as you heal. My experience has been great so far and pain was minimum. The most pain I have experienced thus far is a sore throat from the ng tube. I know everyone is different but for me things have been good so far. -

Thanks to each and everyone of you for the kind words of encouragement. This site has given me the confidence to post full body pics. I would have never done something like this in the past because I have always been ashamed of my weight. Thanks again and I wish all of you much success. -

Why Do People Try To Defeat You?
100%Sleeved replied to Paola's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I think you have a positive attitude. Keep up the good work and I know you will do good. You lost a lot of weight prior to surgery and I know you will be even more awesome with it. I think about food everyday too and that's because I love catering and feeding others. I also love trying new dishes. I have willpower and so do you. You will NOT fail. God Bless You! -
Congrats on getting your date Yecats!! I'm very excited for you.

Almost 2 Months Out, Pictures Attached
100%Sleeved posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I know I have lost some weight. At this point I'm not sure how much. I refuse to weight because I rather weight at my doctor appointments. My next appoinment is the 18th and I will be sure to let you all know how much I have lost. Thanks for your support. -
Hi everyone. I'm brand new to the forum and was just sleeved this past Tuesday. I just got home from the hospital today. I was going to be banded last Thursday but on my 9th day of my preop diet I got a call from my Dr Office stating the insurance would not cover the hospital because it was not a center of excellence. I had to scramble at the last minute to find a doctor who did surgeries at this type of hospital and I went to his seminar and saw he did the sleeve as well as the band. I realized with this change I had options. So I opted for the sleeve instead. I keep seeing on different posts about how one gets help from a PPI. Sorry I don't have a clue what this is. Can someone please enlighten me on this matter.. Thanks in advance
