Hi Terridoodle........I love cheese enchiladas and before my first fill, we went to my favorite mexican place. I ordered 2 cheese enchiladas with queso on top and guacamole. I was only able to eat 1 enchilada and a little guacamole. Brought the rest home for next day. That was mushie stage 2. I know it probably wasn't a "diety" choice, but diets got me in this shape in the first place. Now, I'm happy to eat small amounts...yea!!!

Update....didn't get my second fill today. I have a terrible sinus/allergy infection. With all the coughing and spitting I'm doing, I thought it would be best to wait. So, my second fill will be next Thursday. I'm so sick, I'm not really hungry anyway..just pray I'm better in a week.

Y'all crack me Up! hahahaha "achy Breaky Heart" would be perfect for him!!! My daughter went to the results show of Dancing with the Stars last week. She said that alot of it is taped ahead. And they in the audience watch the taping. Then during the live show...lots of things are just mixed in.

I'm telling y'all.....the Papaya Extract is what the doctors have told three of us who've had problems. Different doctors...Please try it. I swear by it.

My gallbladder acted just like wheetsin's. After being on Atkins for 1 year...I had an acute attack, ended up in the hospital with pancreatitus. I had a similar pain after band surgery...under right rib cage......thought I was dying. I had eaten the russel stover sugar free, carb free candy. Even after surgery, you can still have problems. Go to walmart and get Papaya Extract. It is in the vitamin section. Take it immediately and see if the pain gets better. I took many that 1st day....next day...pain was gone. Try it...I hope this helps.

I will be surprised if any of them sing country very well. Let's see...not Lakisha, not Phil, not Melinda, not Blake(maybe), maybe Chris, maybe Jordin, NOT Sanjaya for sure!!! It will be fun to watch because they all seem to be so SET in their style. Changing genres is just not happening for them.

Tinybelle...I had a sinus infection when I had surgery. I was more worried about than they were. They acted like it was no big deal.....so just go and let them assure you. I'm reading early today because I have a sinus/allergy thing going on....coughing my head off and gagging on drainage in my throat. I have a fill scheduled for 10am.......I'm going anyway. Driving 90 miles......hope he does it anyway. I think the medicine my pcp doctor gave me is making it all come up....won't take it today. Anybody have thoughts on this???

Well, Haley's gone. Sanjaya lives. Pamela....I know Phil can sing....a little...just hard on the eyes...Haley was at least fun to watch with her "pageantry little self"!!!!

Ok....we're down to Haley and Phil...OH PLEASE LET IT BE PHIL with those big ears, eyes and crooked caps!!!!!!!!!!!

It took about a week before I was "normal"...hahaha But my band is 10cc.s So I have room for lots more fill.....

woo hoo synical....GREAT News!!!! I did pretty good right after my first fill, because I think my stomach did some swelling....but now...I'm back to normal. Tomorrow is my 2nd fill...hoping for the best. Congratulations on your weight loss!!!!

Well, Suzanne, I'm a retired first grade teacher and I think I'll name my band, too!!!! What a great idea!!! I'll have to think of a name and let you know!!!! I'm getting my second fill on Thursday, I hope he tightens me up tiny, tiny, tiny!!!

Diddi, you are doing a great job of telling us what you mean. I can understand you completely. We all seem to be stuck with no weight loss for awhile....keep writing....support is so important. I was also banded on February 14....so we are band sisters!!!!!

Thank you so much for the advice....I've had one fill and am definetely going Thursday for my second one. I didn't think I should be able to eat that much. AND....YES, fabfatgrl...before the band, I could eat 3 tacos, 2 mexi-melts, super large coke AND 1/2 mexican pizza! Whew..no wonder I got so big!! I love my band...I see how I'm gradually changing eating patterns and eating so much less than before. I let you know how that next fill goes!!! Thanks again!!

Do you think that being able to eat a taco and side of pinto beans is too much??? I can also eat a whole sandwich, bread, turkey, cheese, mayo. I'm going for another fill on Thursday. ...I think I shouldn't be able to eat this much at one sitting....WHat do you think????

Michelle....I was denied at first, too. But I went to my pcp Doctor for six months, once a month to be weighed and "talked to" about my weight. He recorded dumb things that I've heard over and over. They approved me and that six months went by very quickly. I know you are disappointed right now....but, keep you chin up...you will get this done..you deserve it. Also, did you make a list of all the diet things you've done in the past??

Before I had the band, my banded friend's husband said to me," Don't ever let anyone tell you that this is the easy way out. It is definetely NOT the easy way. You will see, it is very hard, but you'll be glad you did it when you've lost all your weight. I'm proud of you for doing it!" Boy, was he right. I guess going through all the ups and downs of bandland with his wife have taught him a thing or two. She was banded 4 years ago and is skinny and healthy and beautiful.....lots of hard work. Hang in there, everyone, we can do this. It's like dieting with a litttle friend inside of us telling us when to stop eating........a medical miracle!!! ( pep talk to self)

Hi Lizrbit...this is Michele from Texas. You won't believe it..but it has been raining and sleeting and freezing here. The sun finally came out, but it is still so cold. Totally wierd!!!! I've been cleaning out drawers and rooms and closets...yuk!!!!

Ok, Guess I'm forgiven!!! I went to a wedding this weekend and had some dips and chips and even a half a piece of wedding cake. Then yesterday I had a half sandwich and some baked chips and a chocolate egg. Stepped on the scale today and have lost those 3 pounds I gained two weeks ago!!!! Don't understand it......just glad it happened. Maybe my body thought I was starving it???
