Hi Everyone!!! It's been a long time since I posted. Guess I, too, have been busy LIVING again!!! I've forgotten how to update my weight loss ticker...so I'll just tell you that I have now lost 115 pounds!!! I'm well under 200 for the first time in 25 years. I feel fabuous!!!! Hi Everyone!! Happy Bandaversaries!!! Mine was on Valentine's Day and I celebrated with dh and 3 other couples in Gatlinburg, Tenn. I went ice skating to celebrate my new body!!!!! IMAGINE THAT!!!!! I've never ice skated before, but it was really fun and I got to wear all new clothes on our vacation!!!! What a blessing, I love my band!!!!

I am 7 months out of surgery and my hair loss began at 4 months out. It was coming out every time I washed it by the handfuls. I started taking sublingual B-12's, Biotin, and really watching protein intake. It is now coming back...I have little short hair...Thick...all around my face...YEA!!!

A protein pak is a deep conditioner full of protein. You put it on for about 10 minutes, then rinse. I'll let you know what the brand is when I get it. I think it's ION. I usually get it at Sally Beauty Supply.

AWWW I'm sad. I liked Melinda, and Clay, and Katherine McPhee! I never seem to pick the winners! But, I KNOW a good voice when I hear one!!! Jordin will probably take it now, What do you think?

I hate to say it...cause I know you're gonna crucify me....but, I thought Jordin was awful last night. Blake was great, but MELINDA.......rocked!! She brought it home last night and I hope she wins!!! (the no-neck thing isn't a problem anymore with those new wighats!!) She is absolutely the most talented one left. I only have had Dr. Spivak do my fill at the surgicenter. He only does them there on THursdays. If you use someone else...like Joy....can you go on other days of the week??

Hi everyone.....about 2 weeks ago I was so discouraged. Going through all of this to lose weight and the scale wasn't moving even though I was eating so much less than before surgery. I just couldn't even believe it. I was very depressed about it. I read a post from someone who's lost over 200 pounds and took his advice. I've dropped weight everyday and feel great....not hungry. He says: eat only these foods in small amounts up to five times a day, plus your Water and exercise. I admit to very little exercise . Do this for 10 days and you will surely see a difference. You may consume 3 oz. of the following foods, 5x a day: beef pork chicken trudey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened Peanut Butter bean/legumes you may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free Jello broth crystal light drinks If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!! I tried it and lost the 8 pounds I kept bouncing plus a few more!! Just wanted to share because we are all so much in the same boat. Love you guys!!! Michele
