My name is Holly and I am married to the most wonderful, supportive man, Corey. We have one son, Andrew, who is 18 years old and leaving for the Air Force Feb. 2012. A friend of our son's is also living with us until he graduates high school (he is a senior right now). I am 34 years old and have struggled with my weight my entire life. When I reached 250 lbs. I knew it was time to do something. I felt miserable and did not have any energy. I had the lap band surgery done on December 8th and also had a hiatal hernia fixed at the same time. At the time of my surgery I had already lost 10 lbs. from the liquid diet. I have never been very athletic and do not enjoy exercising. One of my goals is to find something that does not feel like exercise so I will want to continue.
