Gay here! VSG'd 4/24/12, doing well

43 yr old sleeved 4/24, down 67 lbs today. Never a milk drinker, gave up shakes because of nausea. Tried a few sweets and icing made me nauseous right away. Sugar taste in mouth not appealing. Bell peppers don't sit well. Have not had the nerve to try lettuce yet. Last few weeks increased carbs, doing a little bread but in tiny amounts and only once or twice a week. Otherwise no other food issues

RN 20 yrs ICU manager, sleeved 4/24/12. Stayed overnight. PAC dilaudid did not really help. IV acetaminophen helped a lot. I stayed off 4 weeks and glad I did. Third day back staffed unit on a very busy day, and that night thought I had been run over by a truck. Drank what water I could, missed lunch. Not good! Keep small cans of tuna in my desk to run scarf down on those crazy days so I don't let myself get run down again. 67 lbs so far! -
