It takes time to change. I really do like the suggestions about researching and finding more healthy nutritionist food. Focus on small portions and eating a spoon of this and a spoon of that. Don't forgot to eat ur protein first. When at school thinking about food refocus on ur classes. Tell ur self no. Plan ur food the night before.

Im considering eating a piece of baked chicken !
Ms skinniness replied to 2dreamkrazii's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Look at it this way, at least by following the regular pre opt diet, your liver will have even more of a chance to shrink and you will be in better shape for the procedure. Please don't make that baked chicken.....It will be calling your name and then after you will be wanting more solid foods and your mind will be playing games on you...... -
Craving something sweet
Ms skinniness replied to mzrich's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Can you eat some yogurt? It does help with the cravings for sweets.....Or Sf pudding or jello. I still drink or eat a protein bar when I want something sweet. Don't give in to your head hunger. Now is the time to tame it.....Distract yourself with something else or call a friend.... -
My husband didn't say much. Just that he loves me no matter what. Later after my major weight loss and no more diabetes, he started talking about how this vsg would help my niece who has issues with her diabetes, bp, and eyes. Wanted me to talk with her..... Now that saids it all.....

This could be hormones left over or it can be that you are getting in foods that don't give you much of a full feeling. Either way, it will pass and soon the foods you eat will be more solid and your body won't be able to metabolize them as quickly. You will feel full and might even feel hungry at all. You may also benefit from checking with your surgeon about taking a PPI which is nexium, omeprazole, tums, etc.

Now this is my specialty. IMPO it would be highly advised that u don't take up alcohol or drugs. It's a disease and it is advised to get some help. AA is a good place to start. When doing alcohol u become less inhibited and more likely to eat way too much that can cause damage by his is the time to work on cultivating new healthy bodies and habits. Focus on learning more about healthy goods that nourish ur body don't tear it down with alcohol or drugs. U can do this! Now Rock that sleeve and clean up ur act!

Please observe and give me advice
Ms skinniness replied to ready4anume's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I recommend taking it just one day at a time. Focus on getting in your liquids in and protein don't worry too much about calories. It is totally normal to have your body take a breather to readjust in inches. You are doing great! Keep on healing for now.
