Actually you should have no problem qualifing with a bmi of 40 and medication for metformin and high bp....... Just be as honest as possible and do share about the support group. ] You may have to take a 3 month class to fulfill the requirements but it's well worth every minute of it...

I'm 18 months out and have had the same struggle. Right now I'm recognizing it and I'm eating proteins first. Yesturday I sore I wasn't going to eat any chocolate and I went to Trader Joe's and bought myself a chocolate bar.......Automatic without thinking. So no more buying chocolate for me........Will be more on top of things from here on out......One day will lead to another so I focus on protein now and just eating 3 meals a day......I do still drink a protein drink and will sometimes eat a protein bar for lunch...... In fact, yesturday I believe I ate way too much and ended up nauseous. Today I drank my protein drink and a little bit later ate a greek yogurt and I felt overly full and got nauseous. So I need to cut back on my serving sizes and not make myself finish it when I feel full. Back to basics.

Since this could be a portway to your insides, I would definitely go see your PCP at least.. Better safe than sorry... -

Congrats! At least they were able to do the other two repairs when they had you open. I just recently had my gallbladder taken out and it was a piece of cake.... No problems, no soreness, and no pain.........Thank goodness for that... -
This is a scary decision to make for ourselves. There's the always what if we say to ourselves. I remember the first day out asking myself if I had made a good decision and decided, "Hell yes." I couldn't change it anyways. It was done and here I am with 95% of my excess weight gone! Yep it's gone..Yay... You can do this. Work on not letting your fears get the best of you.....

Would You Have Weight Loss Surgery Again?
Ms skinniness replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I would choose this again in a heart beat! I've had no complications and have my diabetes in remission. I have lost 95% of my excess weight and I eat so much healthier. How great is that? I love my sleeve and my body size -
Hello new and from the UK

This is an exciting journey that we are all are taking....You won't regret it.......It's a miracle and I love my tiny stomach.....Can you ask the surgeon what size bougie he uses. My bariatric surgeon told me that anything under a 40 is good with a straight cut......That way it is less likely to stretch.....wish I knew this before my surgery, I would of asked for a 32 bougie instead of a 34.......But I'm totally happy with a 34. there isn't that much difference..... -

Just look how beautiful you are........wooza! Keep it up I love that your be in a size 6/8! -
What are the pumps on your calves? I feel embarrassed to ask.... I suggest that you take it one day at a time and sit back and enjoy the beautiful transformation your body is going to go through. Also start working on recognizing the triggers that come up that move you to eat something not so healthy or to over eat. It's better to work on these now and be prepared. Also eat a healthy diet and exercise....>This is life saving too....

Hmmmm this is something that I like.... Primal eating is a concept of skipping a meal. I just read a little of fastdiet and it appears we've been pretty much doing the fast diet the first 4 to 5 months.......This is still doable for me. -

This is my life..... Just get over it.. right?!?!
Ms skinniness replied to djsacco's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Wow, you sound like a big ball of anxiety right now...... Try to relax more and concentrate on what you can eat, chewing many many times and taking bites after brief conversation with friends and family. You can do this. If you must, order something from the side menu that is something your tummy can handle.....You can do this and must actually.....hang in there, it gets much better. Try and not think about all the little stuff.... -
Stressed to the max! Off topic
Ms skinniness replied to Nicolanz's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This is alot of stress to endure.......Hang in there and recognize the temptation to turn to food and work on not giving into that impulse. It's hard. I hope things start turning around......Now, take a deep breath 3 to 4 times and picture letting go of the stress with each breath exhale. Repeat in your mind, I'm ok, I can do this.... -

I have my sugar demon woken up quite often........I walk around looking for chocolate....if I can't find some I'll eat a chocolate protein bar. I am in such a grazing rut right now and I need to get back on track tooo......So here's to tomorrow and getting back on track! No sugary chocolates for me....... Also need to exercise. I'm finding myself feeling a bit light headed these days and it totally bugs me......... -
