Fabulous! Love this!

I would totally wait to buy clothes as you go down in size. Smart idea to buy summer clothes that fit for now. I waited a while before buying new cloths because I knew I would be not able to wear them for long. The one exception was my Levi jean and I was kicking myself when they were too big.

today I am wearing a skirt and I feel fat in it......I often don't recognize my reflection in the window at the mall too......LOL

Second Guessing my decision!
Ms skinniness replied to SLF1027's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I do know that the RnY's pouch will stretch and weight is regained. With the sleeve, if you can't loose your weight all with the sleeve then the second step can be the RnY. With the RnY they use the fundus of the stomach that is the stretchy part. So all in all, all the wls are just tools in the long haul. It all about what we decide to put in our mouths...... It's not a miracle, but it is doable if you are willing to put in the work........ -
Who has actually reached goal?
Ms skinniness replied to JessicaAnn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm about 3 lbs from my personal goal. I have surpassed my surgeon's goal. Now I'm working on dropping the last 3 lbs and maintaining that......I love my sleeve... -
how long post-op before a tummy tuck?
Ms skinniness replied to bethnc1970's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I was told 2 years, but if your not near goal, I would wait until goal to get the maximum benefits of the PS. -
If your a1c is too high?
Ms skinniness replied to karpouzian's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have Kaiser and in order to have the surgery, they wanted my A1c done to 5.99. Well, it wasn't down but with some diet changes, my A1C did drop some and I had the surgery. It is normal for our blood sugar to spike after the trauma of surgery and that was the first time I've ever had insulin injections. After day 3, no more insulin was needed and my blood sugar was normal. Yayyyyyyyy! That was my first NSV. -
Gonna Get To Goal. Wanna Join Me?
Ms skinniness replied to coops's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This is just another tool for our tool box to fine tune our losing. Eating 500 calories isn't fasting. In fact, it is highly recommended by some medical professionals. Doesn't the Catholic church have fasting days? Heck, I tried to eat 500 calories and found out that my best friend who was like a mom to me is dying. I ate more than 500 calories and I still lost 2 lbs! Yayyyyyyyyyyy! Now maybe it's a coincidence and maybe it's not. I will see tomorrow. I will take my 2 lb loss and keep going. It's just a tool and if we eat like this 1 to 2 times a day, it's no biggie. Gaining weight back and not being able to maintain is more damaging to me. There are so many different theories out there, who knows which one is truth. A theory is just someone's opinion. I only take into consideration studies that can be empirically validated. Dietician's are changing things every day. So I choose to do what my body responds too. IMO......... Keep rocking on! -
I do not like the word or concept of dieting. I look at it as a way of eating, period. I chose to eat proteins first, veggies, etc. I work on staying away from high glycemic carbs. I love the concept of the Paleo diet (there's that word again). This is something I must do to retain my healthy skinny body. If I gain weight, I'm jeopardizing my health and letting my loved ones down too. Besides, eating 500 calories is not fasting. It's just cutting back for 2 days if I choose. It's like a reboot to my system and it shrinks our tummy.

"Don't mess with what God gave you!" and other crazy comments
Ms skinniness replied to LOSINGLOOSEY's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I never gave them a chance to say those things I told them what I was doing and that was that. -
The fun part is seeing it grow back. At 20 months post opt my hair has grown about 6 inches I can see it when my hairdresser straightens my hair and blo dries it.

Ms skinniness replied to coops's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I just had a lasagna cupcake made with turkey. If made with ground beef, 160 calories. I wasn't able to stick with fasting today. My good friend has a neurological problem and COPD with 2 years to live. I just found this our today. But will be fasting tomorrow. This is just a hick up. -

I am doing the same thing. I find myself getting grumpy because I can't eat for 12 hours so I'm hoping the 12 hours from dinner to breakfast will be enough of a break. Today I had a protein shake for breakfast.... For lunch a Chobani Greek Yogurt.... dinner a protein shake -
I miss everything....... this is what happens when I stop coming around so often.... Oh well, maybe it's because I'm really hungry and I'm hearing about El Patron...... I love people....
