Keep up with your weight loss and try to follow your surgeon's eating plan. When I eat sugar, I start wanting more and more of it. Just a bite is a trigger for me. Stay on track and you will have an even better smile at the end.

Smoking After Gastric Sleeve Surgery
Ms skinniness replied to mommamea's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Mommamea; I hope that you decide to not smoke anymore. You have chosen to get healthier and you must have given it up for a while. I know that this is a stressful journey for you, but it's like switching from one addiction to another. Call a friend instead of taking a puff on a cigarette, you will feel better later on. Write something on this site discussing the triggers to taking a puff off a cigarette. I can see you stomping on that urge and being successful. After all, it wasn't easy getting to this surgery. We had to jump through alot hoops and then some. The decision lies in your hands.... Happy New Years!!! -

2 Weeks Post Off Stall And An Alcohol Question
Ms skinniness replied to utopianaurora's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't give up on yourself. If your hungry all the time, it may be that you have alot of acid in your stomach. Check with you surgeon to see if you can take a PPI (prilosec). I was always hungry and I started taking prilosec and I'm not hungry anymore. How many calories are you consuming on your liquid diet? Are you getting enough protein? Are you exercising at all, like walking? Have you lost inches? Hang in there, it will happen..... Kaiser educated on the dangers of drinking of alcohol. Some weight loss patients have died from drinking alcohol. How manydrinks they had, I don't really know. Also, alcohol can contribute to weight gain. -
Any Words Of Wisdom?
Ms skinniness replied to happy1957's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It does give you a reality check. It is painful to see someone you know and care about have this horrible disease. Your body is no where like her body and it is hard to say if this is a warning. I am so sorry you have to go through this. Your fears are normal and I had these fears also. I did it anyways. Best wishes! Please keep us informed. -
I count all those things as fluid intake. I just weight myself and i actually gained 6 oz. I am at a stall right now and looking for ways to switch up my diet also. I am going to start increasing my exercise now. LOL this is what I should have been doing all along
