1 Week Out & Extreme Fatigue (& Hunger)
Ms skinniness replied to jewelwithin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
After surgery I was always hungry, no matter what. I told the PA's at the surgeon's office and they didn't say anything. However, on this site, I received feedback from others about taking a PPI (nexium, prilosec, or something for acid reflux). So I tried prilosec for a couple of weeks and it really did take away the hunger. COme to find out, it is alot of acid in my pouch that wsa causing such a ruckus. Glad that I found that info here. -
hated broth before, but loved it after. i really like the broth from El Pollo loco's chicken tortilla soup

Ok What Do I Have To Do To Get Back On Track?
Ms skinniness commented on Maddy's blog entry in Maddy's Blog
Go back to basics. Have an all liquid day and focus on the weight just dropping off like butter. Go to your favorite department store and try on new cloths that will be snug. Cut out all sugars because they contribute to hunger. Incorporate some exercise. You have done this before and you can do it again (hope you don't think I'm being bossy). lol -
Any Otc Meds To Avoid? Sick, Please Help :(
Ms skinniness replied to Newgirlie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Try to avoid cough syrups with alcohol. Oh and no meds with aspirin or anti inflammatory medications. If your not sure, you can ask a pharmacist and they will know. -
Sorry, I don't know what it could be. I would go to the ER. When we have pain, it's telling us that something's wrong. I wouldn't play around with this. Please keep us posted. Sad your feeling so bad ;(

I use to think the people judged me by my weight also so I wouldn't go. now I want to live life to the fullest. I am in a stall and have gone back on an all liquid diet to trigger more weight loss. I don't even know what my goal is. Just taking it one day at a time.... Love it! LOL -
Post - Op Recovery / Ability
Ms skinniness replied to msforty2's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I basically took care of myself. I like that I could get up and walk around. I didn't have much pain, just gas. You have GF's that can set things up for you. Maybe one can spend a couple of nights with you if possible. -

Ms skinniness replied to Julie76's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Good job everybody. I love knowing that I'm loosing all this weight. I am looking at my fears that I will stop loosing. I'm just coming out of a stall and feeling leary. On the other hand, I love the way I look in my new cloths! My blouse is awesome. :0 I look forward to hearing about future weight loss. I'm 3 months post op. Yayyy for us! -
Laura you look fantastic! Juicing is a great option, but sometimes it can cause some weight gain. There is nothing wrong with increasing our diets to a more healthy, nutritious and great tasting. I fear for myself that I would over indulge and gain weight back. Then again, I'm mind is playing tricks on me. I am holding back from going out and buying a size 8 slacks for work. I just can't believe I'm in an 8. I am working my way up to it.
