Ms skinniness replied to Mel34's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
A right now solution would be to hold a pillow up to your stomach when your moving, coughing, or sneezing. It really helps to stabilize the incision sites. -
BTW, you are in a much smaller size in women's!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! :Angel_anim:

CONGRATS! You are definately a big loser LOL. Hope to get out of this stall this week. I am going to do LilMissDiva's basic boot camp! That should do it. LOL

One Year Post-Op 20Pound Lose
Ms skinniness replied to nikki6866's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Failed sleeve? I was at the surgeon's office and the PA said that there are some people looking to have a new staple line. Have you tried LilMissDiva's basic boot camp? That might help shrink your stomach some and trigger a weight loss. Just a thought. -

Quick Numbness In Arms And Legs
Ms skinniness replied to wondering1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have had some numbness, but mostly cold extremities. Maybe it's just weight loss. -
Everybody is right on here. I have been in a stall since Xmas and am finding myself with baggier jeans and smaller size tops. I keep reflecting back to when I weighed 163 in the past, and I was still wearing a large to xlarge then. I still have flab I need to get rid of and am working with a personal trainer to strengthen my care. I am going to kick it up abit on monday. I really need to start cardio. I will join a class at the gym too. It's about better health, exercise, and toning up. Thanks every one for all your support. :banane58:

Ms skinniness replied to Tlmiller2971's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was such a scardy cat, I didn't start taking big drinks of fluid until I read on this site that other people were having no difficulties with it. Low and behold, I didn't have any pain. Thank God I can finally get enough fluids in.... This is a NSV! -

"cheating" (A Concern)
Ms skinniness replied to Indymom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am wondering what is normal eating? I know that if I want to continue on my path to losing weight. Then I have to eat healthy and exercise. If I go out and start having a snack here and there, then I am going to convince myself that it's ok and do it on an everyday basis. The end result would be a gain of weight and worst yet, diabetsis. My view of healthy eating is eating nutrious meals, I don't need sugarery desserts or candy. I am working really hard to stay away from them. I have even gone to organic foods now. The last time I was in a restaurant, I ordered baked potato soup, and when it came, it dawned on me that it was full of pesticides. That really turned my stomache. Why would I eat this stuff? Here I had 85% of my stomach taken out to lose weight, yet I'm putting pesticides in my stomach. YUCK! So I am working on making the foods I eat more organic. So for the blurb. But I think we should all eat healthier to nourish our bodies. They are so beautiful! Keep rockin our sleeves and eat healthier. -
sorry your feeling so bad. It is a really good ideal to go to the ER to be rehydrated. Please let us know how your holding out. concerned.

"cheating" (A Concern)
Ms skinniness replied to Indymom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When a person cheats on his/her diet, they are hurting themselves in the long run. This has beena major surgery that has removed 85% of our stomach. I know that I want to be successful and to be as healthy as I can possibly be. __ :aureola: -

Why Do People Try To Defeat You?
Ms skinniness replied to Paola's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Congrats! Your holding tight to your commitment. Your dad is probably feeling alittle threaten and fearful of loosing you. Just keep picturing yourself with this beautiful skinny healthy, glowful body and walking a happy life. He will come around. When the time is right, tell your dad that he really hurt you when he told you that you fail. I like watching cooking shows too so I can learn how to cook much healthier meals for myself and my family. Keep Rockin that Sleeve! -

Amazed At What 61/2 Weeks Post Surgery Is Like!
Ms skinniness replied to royboy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I too feel very blessed! You have done a great job losing weight! CONGRATS! Keep rockin that sleeve! So happy to hear about you being off medication. That's fantastic alone! Thank you so much for sharin, it helps give me more motivation than before.. :Banane55: -
Hey! Just want to give you a head up. Your beautiful daughter isn't ready to have the surgery yet. She needs to make that decision on her own. You can bring healthy foods into the house and encourage her to exercise with you, but she needs to come to that conclusion on her own. Just be there for her and love her for who she is. This is easier said then done though. You are a very loving mom and want the best for her.

YUM YUM! It makes me hungry just reading it. The lady sure is a keeper. LOL

Not Losing Anything...
Ms skinniness replied to LadySookie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is nothing! I bet that your body is adjusting and you are loosing in inches! Have you measured yourself lately? Take a measurement of your arms band stomach, thighs, calves, and see what your measurements on. Try on cloths that didn't fit you before (too small). You will be surprised about the inches. I am in a stall since Xmas but have gone down to a size 10 women's LEE jeans from a size 15 Levi jeans. I wear smaller tops also. It's amazine but I still get caught up in the #'s on the scale. Hard to get away from that. Hang in there and keep reading posts here. -

Keeping Food Down
Ms skinniness replied to peacequeen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You have had a horrible ordeal. Your stomach is still healing. Take it slowly and perhaps have smaller quanities through out the day. Glad your home and getting some liquids in. It will happen and you will be eating normally, at least normally for us. Keep healing.. -
