One Week Out! Hopefully I'm Not Being Paranoid :/
Ms skinniness replied to Mel34's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sometimes our stomach is producing too much acid and that can give us a feeling of being hungry. I had this difficulty the first 6 weeks and then Iearned that Prevacid would help with the acid and it took care of my hunger monster. LOL If your drinking liquids like soup, then it's probably going down through the pyloric valve. I wouldn't worry about it, but you might call your surgeon's office tomorrow and check with them. I don't believe you have stretched you sleeve any since it's just soup. You might want to measure your food before eating it. Anyways, CONGRATS! -
Sick On Stomach Since I Began
Ms skinniness replied to strudel's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
your not feeling well. Are you able to get in all your liquids? Sometimes if your dehydrated that can cause nausea. Maybe it would be a good ideal to call your surgeon's office tomorrow and she what they recommend. Hope you get better real soon! -

Ack, Did I Just Eat Way Too Much?
Ms skinniness replied to alexeleni's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You will be fine. The one thing with smoothies is that if it's from Jamba juice or other smoothie places, there is alot of sugar from the fruit they put in. Also, high in calories. Unless you were very careful and made a great choice. Otherwise, you are learning about your new sleeve and most likely didn't do any harm. Congrats! -

Wow, you have done really great! From the dates, it looks like you have had no stalls. Can you tell me how you succeeded with this? What is your diet, exercise, calorie intake? That would be fantastic to see. Great job and so proud of you..... -
LOL, no problem, at least you caught it now. Just start taking the recommended dose. I thought I was taking sublinquial B12 but found out it was not sublinqual, it was to be taken orally. My bad, so now I need to go buy some. Congrats! you caught it... LOL

OMG! I had done these things too. Now I'm happy to be me. I do get hungry and right now my stomach is gurgling. LOL. I thought that I was eating around 1100 calories but discovered after looking at Myfitness pal, I'm only gettin around 900. But I do feel better than 600. This is the best thing that's happened too me. -
Cleaned Out My Closet
Ms skinniness replied to Cheles's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
In my closet I am having trouble parting with alot of my xl tops, sweaters, jackets, and suit jackets. I am in disbelief that I will not be able to wear them again. Yes, this is insane. But this weekend, I will clean all the cloths out that are too big. I own 1 pair of jeans, 4 blouses, and some new under wear. oh and 1 new bra. Not much of a wardrobe. My closet will be empty. Then it's my drawers. I can't even wear my exercise cloths, they are way toooooo big. LOL.... I really do love it though. It's a new me.... -
CoNGRatS! That is a real accomplishment. Keep ROCKIN that SLEEVE!
